I want to thank the hvac tech mat for his professionalism and knowledge on my system, and pat for helping me with my new water heater and water softener. Bailey and Josh did a great job with installation. It took a week to finish my water softener install due to lack of communication. There was no confirmation as to when to expect works which was frustrating as a customer. Overall, I would recommend this company as a local business. They make a effort to fix mistakes if there are any. I'll hire this team again

I ended up calling Lickety Split for three different things (non-emergency/urgent) and they were out 2 business days later to complete full A/C tune-ups/inspections on our two units as well as advised and helped me with a Hot Water Heater solution (replacing our existing) as well as some electrical work. Each of their specialists were extremely professional, personable and informative. Gave several options for each trade/situation and was very detailed and thorough to ensure everything was considered and followed through with. I highly recommend giving them a call.Called again and Logan came out for an HVAC service and he was fantastic.

Summary: We were overcharged by 2-3x just before Christmas for emergency plumbing work. The highest market cost for the work should have been about $9,500, but we were pressured into paying $19,000 under the impression that it was an urgent issue and this was a fair price.12/20/24 Update: After moving our dishwasher to clear our tub drain, the techs didn't reconnect the dishwasher and didn't tell us not to use it (it's under our sink). We just tried to run the dishwasher and the cabinet that the unconnected hose was in is now flooded.We contacted Lickety Split Plumbing after seeing a $79 promotion for a drain cleanout with a free camera inspection. On 12/11/24, three people (Chris, John, and an apprentice) came to inspect our slow-draining tub. John ran a camera through the main drain and claimed we needed a full relining because our cast iron pipes were failing. He warned us that, without immediate action, the pipes would collapse within a week, requiring jackhammering our floors and making our house unlivable.As first-time homeowners, this terrified us. Chris and John seemed trustworthy and assured us their $19,000 relining using the NuFlow product came with a 75-year product warranty and a 10-year labor guarantee. They claimed no one else could match their quality or guarantees, and others’ work might fail in 5-10 years even though they may be $1500 or so cheaper. We signed the contract, waiving the standard 3-day cancellation window due to the "emergency."Technicians came out on 12/12/24 and 12/13/24 to jet the main drain and complete the relining. They were professional, and we have no complaints about them. However, they didn’t address the slow-draining tub that prompted our initial call. Despite paying $19,000 for the relining, our tub still doesn’t drain properly. When we called customer service on 12/16/24, David informed us that the job was marked as complete, and no further work was scheduled. Technicians were finally scheduled to address the tub on 12/19/24.After researching NuFlow and industry costs, we discovered significant discrepancies. NuFlow's website estimates relining costs for residential homes at $2,500–$5,500. Even with labor costs of $150/hour (for two workers, 12 hours total), preparation (jetting the main drain, $350–$600), and a high-end estimate of $250/linear foot for 30 feet of pipe, the total cost should have been around $9,500. We paid $19,000—double the market high.Adding to our frustration, we still haven’t received the promised 75-year warranty or the company’s 10-year guarantee in writing despite multiple follow-ups. The sales team pressured us into immediate action, claiming we’d face $50,000+ in repairs if we delayed, leaving us no choice but to finance the work. After consulting other plumbers, we learned even a complete pipe replacement would have cost less than the $19,000 we paid.We feel we were misled and significantly overcharged by Lickety Split Plumbing. Their vague, itemized invoice doesn’t justify the excessive cost, and their aggressive sales tactics exploited us during a stressful time.We’re hardworking, honest people willing to pay fair prices for necessary repairs. We expected professionalism and transparency, not pressure and dishonesty. We hope this review helps other families avoid similar experiences. We’ll be contacting the Better Business Bureau next to document these issues.

Dylan is a new handyman with Lickety Split and it was right on time for me. I had this wonky little attic access point that no one could fit through comfortably. One of their guys actually almost fell through it and scared me and my wife half to death. So I contacted Arron Braswell from the company and we came up with a plan to install a hydraulic attic system with metal stairs to ensure the safety of anyone going up in our attic gave us piece of mind! We also had drywall that had to be repaired from electrical and HVAC work we had the company do. Dylan worked diligently for two days to put our attic stairs up with beautiful molding around it. He also did such good work on our drywall that you can’t even tell there was ever a hole in our ceiling and walls. He painted everything he fixed and his attention to detail was impressive. Did I mention he did it all by himself! He went above and beyond for us and it will never be forgotten. Lickety Split has been a lifesaver for us this year so going forward the only company I will count on is them! Go cheap if you want to but you will pay for it later!

We cannot say enough, good things about Matthew Hahn! He absolutely knew what to do, explained what he was going to do, and showed us the video of what his camera saw in the waste pipe going to the city sewer. After he gave us a quote, we agreed to move forward. He spent quite a bit of time and care as he did the work, then showed us a new video of how everything looked. Before he left, he went through every bathroom and two additional utility sinks to make sure all was good. Since my husband was in construction and built several large homes, we asked a lot of questions. Matt was very patient and continued to explain until we were satisfied. We think your company should clone Matt Hahn. He is the type of employee you want facing your customers.

I had a minor hiccup with my new hot water heater, I called customer service & they were willing to send someone out the same day to get it attended to. I couldn't make it, but they sent Brandon my original installer and he got it taken care of within a few minutes. He was quick, efficient & friendly. I would definitely use Lickety Split for any future jobs.**12/7/2024...I had my A/C serviced yesterday and the tech Eugene was very thorough & customer friendly. He walked me through everything & gave me solutions to some issues I wasn't even aware of. Luke had to come back out this morning to finish up the leak detection and did an outstanding job on a very hard task (leak looks like it’s under the slab). 🌟RICH IS TRULY EXCEPTIONAL🌟I recently had an issue with smoke detectors going off intermittently. While the first technician who came out was kind and made an effort, they weren’t able to resolve the problem. RICH wasthe second technician sent to help, and he truly went ABOVE and BEYOND!He patiently listened as I explained the issue and shared details from the first technician’s findings before starting his assessment. Rich was able to identify the root cause of the problem. Since it was late in the evening, he couldn’t fully resolve it that same day, but he went out of his way to create a temporary solution to keep us comfortable until he could return.The next day, Rich came back and fixed the issue completely. He was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions, explaining everything so I could better understand what was happening. He followed through with everything he said he was going to do.Not only is Rich an expert at what he does, but he’s also a genuinely kind, courteous, honest, and professional individual! You never know what kind of experience you’ll have when a company sends out a technician, but I feel so fortunate that Rich was sent our way!

Do not use. Technician came to my house wed dec 11th. He arrived and stayed a tankless electric water heater will be pricey. He mentioned it needs to be replaced and he would send the quote to my email. I waited until Thursday to get the quote. Nothing received. That night i received a call from the mgr asking the reason for the service request????why is the mgr asking me the reason i need service if its listed in the request and the technician came earlier that day.he even asked is your hot water heater not working. Come on, why wouldni call u if my hot water heater is workin.They are quick to request a review, so I said I need a quote to replace the unit. The next week came and I received a call from the receptionist who stated am I still waiting on an invoice or a diagnosis.i said yes, confirmed my email again. Still no quote received. Today, Dec 17th i received a call from the receptionist asking if Daniel called.i said no. Received a call from him a few mins later and he wanted to see if I want service now or later. He sent the quote which to my outrage said $7796.00 to replace a tankless water heater. folks these people included a 3 warranty, & a new plumbing plan. Not what I asked for. If u look online for a tankless electric water heater they are priced btwn $300-$1000 dollars. Please tell me how they came to $7796.00. Are we replacing my roof, what the heck.Simply a scam, charging for things you don't need. All while waiting almost a week to get a quote and never receiving the diagnostic paper work.Beware!

Angela was such a big help, I was so angryToday because our electric got cut off and they would not turn it back on because our inspection failed. Plus our plumbing is not finished yet The shower is leaking. Angela calmed me down and got everybody scheduled to come out and finish the work. She is also going to set up where I can talk to the owner Because this has been somewhat of a little bit of a nightmare. Angela is on top of it and has promised to call me back with updates. That's all I have ever asked for. I appreciate so much I got her today.

Chuck and Nicholas responded to my home for a blockage in the toilet drain. They snaked it with a camera and were able to figure out a deeper issue that I’ll need to fix down the road. I will for sure use them when that time comes. Chuck is very knowledgeable and I have full confidence in his advice and abilities. And they aren’t just trying to “sell” you a service you don’t need. Worst experience ever. I was told there would be a complete one hour diagnostic but he was there a total of 11 mins. Then proceeded to show me a 1,400 dollar bill to fix. Needless to say that didn’t happen. Contacted two managers for a refund for this experience and they agreed but still have not seen a dime weeks later.

Just had our six month “check up,” for our two year old HVAC system. Logan, the tech, arrived just before 2:00 PM (window was 12:00-4:00, so time is just a reference) and inquired about any concerns or problems we were having with the unit, to which I explained one seemingly minor concern (which started after the last tech from Lickety Split came out).After three and a half hours, yes, three and a half hours I was being told all the things that are (apparently) wrong with our system and what the recommendations were. I’m not an HVAC professional by any means, but we have a three ton system and a 2,100 square foot home, the timing felt a bit excessive. Obviously having questions, considering the house itself is just over two years old, Logan was patient and answered my questions (there were a lot) the best he could, in my opinion.Throughout the inspection, Logan was showing me brief videos or photos of what our duct work (apparently) looked like in the attic. I asked for those videos/photos to be sent for documentation purposes multiple times but they weren’t ever sent. Could he have been focused on explaining things and just forgotten? Of course. I understand I had lots of questions, but I asked multiple times for this documentation. In addition to the duct work, our compressor is apparently on the verge of failure - recommended hard start kit and a new compressor.After all was said and done, Logan reiterated everything he apparently noticed and went over our options. He inquired if I wanted him to write everything up and priced out and I kindly said yes, please. Logan went to the truck to price things out so I could write them down (he couldn’t/wouldn’t) provide a written estimate. Approximately 13 minutes later Logan walked back up the driveway and stated that he was not able to price things out due to his manager stating prices fluctuate so drastically that they could quote us one price one day, then a week later they could be dramatically different. I was given an apparent example of a $4,000 job costing $6,000 a week or two later. Red flags all around. Understandably Logan was apparently the messenger here, so I want to reiterate that he was friendly, patient and seemed to genuinely want to help, but the company itself seems to put TONS of pressure on their techs to sell, sell, sell.All of this said, I politely refused moving forward with anything without a spelled out, written document in front of me.The idea of regular maintenance on our HVAC unit is important to me, however, for a unit just over two years old I find it incredibly difficult to believe there are this many things wrong with it. To be honest, I’m not sure if anything was even done maintenance-wise during this visit, that was never reviewed with me (my fault for not asking). I’ll be getting a second opinion, and for now, I will not be renewing our contract for bi-annual “service.”Thanks again for your patience, Logan.

We had a sewage backup in our home. After trying several different plumbers to help, our friends recommended your company. Your professionals arrived at 8:00 pm and quickly went to work. After two hours our drain clog was cleared. Dalton and Hamza were professional, skilled and very likable guys. They explained everything they were doing and even let me look as they scoped our drain.
