You'll need the Google Maps app to edit or delete your reviews.Learn more9 reviews · 2 ratingsLickety Split AC, Plumbing & Electric571 Market St, St. Augustine, FL 32095The absolute worst experience of my life no measurement were took of my old unit upon arrival the guy had already installed my outside unit they cut my ac cage without my permission install the new unit that was to large for my cage I informed the installer that they should have called they told me their manager said to cut it so they can finish the job and also my sale person wanted nothing to do with the whole thing so I call anyone that would listen at the company about what happen they told me I would have to pay for a new cage I told them I couldn't afford that call should have been made and I wouldn't have went thru with the deal but now I am stuck with a new unit with a cage in my neighborhood that can be stolen at anytime they promised me a cage because they order a bigger size ac unit without measuring and also cut my cage and took it without my permission I have I waited the entire day on 4/26/24 all to have Noone call I call the about 30 times just to get brushed of so I went into the office they promised a phone call that I never recieve a simple for phone call to inform me that the unit was to big for my cage would have avoided the head ache because I would have to them not to install it yes my cage was old but it was my property and they had no right to cut it without my permission

Found this company to be very reliable.Had an issue and they came our immediately.Elmer was our service guy and he got right it. He identified the issue and fixed it right away. Maybe it took 15 minutes or less . He is a very nice and friendly guy.With honor I give this review.Keep up the good work ELMER.

If you want to pay 3-5x what a fair estimate would be and get sold on services you don’t need, hire Lickity split, or lickity f-ed over. I called them and hired them to replace a few plumbing valves for $1800 and it turns out there’s companies in Saint Augustine that would’ve done it for $500. They told me almost $14k for a water softener. Found someone local for $1900. They have huge margins to pay sales reps, sales managers, middle management, etc. I work in home service and know exactly how companies like this operate.I was unknowingly signed up for a “gold karat” membership that involves sending another sales rep out to try to sell you on other services. These sales reps will try to convince you your home needs other services when it’s actually just fine. In fact, I’m updating this review because 2 days after their “tech” inspected my HVAC, the HVAC started malfunctioning and is not working properly. Coincidence? I doubt it.Stay away from these guys. Hire local. They pay Google to get the top spot. They also push Google reviews with cards to boost their reputation before you get the chance to do your due diligence. Also the “gold karat” is just set up to sell you more expensive things you don’t actually need. Predatory sales. Don’t let the good reviews fool you, it’s going to cost you.

My service call was for A/C not working. Jimmy checked out my system and took his time to explain my options. Daniel and Geoff installed the new system the next day. Everyone answered any questions I had. I will definitely call them the future for any issues I have.

I called about their free pipe & drain camera inspection. The office lady was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. Joshua Martin came out and right away showed on the camera the sewer drain was stopped up. There was no pressure from him and he was very professional to explain what it would take to fix it. I will be recommending this company to all my friends and family.

Cameron is amazing! He's super nice, very knowledgeable, caring, and understanding. He insisted on the shoe covers even after I said no really your ok! Very professional as well. After a bad experience with their plumbing department he made up with in the HVAC department. He wanted to make sure our air quality is perfect as he noticed mold everywhere. He was concerned, but it's getting fixed now. Thank you so much cameron!!! See you in 6 months for the tune up.

AC MaintenanceI have had the pleasure of another great experience with Lickety Split. This time I used their AC services. For starters, they called me for my 6 month check-up...I had forgotten I signed up for that...thank you. Scheduling was easy and Jordan and Logan were here when they were supposed to be. Jordan was the main guy and he was friendly and let me know what was going on and how it all looked. It is sad that it has gotten to be that service, good customer service, is rare, BUT Lickety Split's Jordan provided. Logan was great too, but I didn't talk to him much. I would still recommend this company.PREVIOUS REVIEW - Different Service Type (July/August 2023) - Toilet Repair"Service started great by someone answering my call, after 5PM in fact. The person I spoke with was clear, pleasant, and got me scheduled for the next morning. (Mine is a business location so timing worked great.) Christopher showed up professionally dressed and was polite. Best of all he came during the time frame I was expecting. He quickly, and correctly, performed the task, unclog a toilet. He followed up with us to let us know what was going on and answered our questions. He offered options to lessen future problems without pressuring us. The company called shortly after he left to follow up with us. This was the first time I'd used Lickety Split AND I will be keeping their number for the future."

Awesome service by our AC tech, Cameron. Did a complete review of our system and pointed out some areas of concern. Solving the issue with mold in around our system was critical given we have someone with asthma in our home. Thank goodness it was discovered and treated. We will be cool and breath easy!

Chris did a great job, on time, quick booking with Lickety Split plumbing. Fixed the gas pipe issue quickly and sealed it which Lennar, our home builder, should have done but didn’t. I’d use these guys again and I’d ask for Chris!

From my initial call to receive service until Eddie the technician left, I received nothing but A-1 service. I was extremely impressed and the excitement I felt after is an understatement. Eddie arrived earlier than estimated, was very friendly as he completed a very thorough inspection of the inside, outside, line, freon level, and thermostat. You name it ... he checked it. Some may say, that's a given but for a person that was deceived previously, his above and beyond was appreciated. He didn't just tell me, he showed me so that I would understand. I was provided a list of repairs needed and multiple options to choose regarding the repairs.I would definitely recommend to friends and family. But most of all THANK YOU for your LICKETY SPLIT arrival, HONEST and FRIENDLY service, not to mention the SPLIT pricing😁

I was having troubles with my ac being frozen on the inside and out . Austin arrived at my house fast and in a timely manner . I had a tough pipe relining project that had a couple of snags n the beginning. The crew was great at handling the challenges. Able to use their experance, problem solving skills and determination to complete the job. Nice, professional crews and did a great job cleaning up the work area. Showed up on time ready to work. Had a plumbing issue and booked an appointment online for next day. Booking the appointment online was very easy and received a confirmation within 30 minutes. Plumber showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the issue. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.

I had such high hopes of Lickety Split Air. When I made the appointment they were able to get us seen within few hours after we signed up for their yearly program at $189. They showed up and as I wasn’t there for the entire appointment only my fiancé. I had asked them to reach out to me for any of the repairs as he was working from home and trying not to disturb him. They ignored that, offered a fix but when we were going to pay said, well this may not even fix the hole problem so it could be another $2200. Then we discussed getting a new unit. After a very lengthy predatory loan application we did not feel comfortable signing without at least talking it over. The rep told us, “good luck with no a/c over the next few days.” Unfortunately, I can not say we will recommend them or use them again.

I manage a multi family complex it is in the 90s and I reached out to 3 companies who all could not accommodate us until next week prior to calling Lickety Split. Lickety Split was out within the hour. Was able to repair the broken AC unit. The staff was very professional and the resident is in his apartment with cold air in time for the weekend. I will 100% be calling again.

Final update! Finally heard back. The service that was sold to me as a full home checkup is more like "a mechanic driving your car and listening for unusual sounds" according to the supervisor who reached out. It is not intended to find code issues. I was informed that "the house is 80 years old and you should expect rewiring is needed" as if I should already know what an old house needs when hiring an electrician for a full house checkup.Update 2: Found live wires cut and exposed in the attic. What did we even get for our money? Never heard anything back and no summary provided. Had 2 other electricians come out. Looks like 11k to get it past inspection which was all supposed to be done by lickety split 4 months ago. Was informed that hiding the cloth wires in the attic and running new lines down is not good practice but lickety split did it. So frustrating. Going with Mr Sparky for the repairs. They broke everything down and even offered better than code work without additional cost since it is safer and on the way to the needed work.Update: so each job was good but in the end, it all went south. If I could go back, I would pick nearly anyone elseJob 0: fixing the shed connection to the house. The original reason for calling. They were great and the tech found a simple solution saving me several thousand dollars.Also sold me on a full home service check since we were selling the house.Job 1:Had a Brandon out to do a full inspection and bring everything up to code. He found several things and the total was about 2,500. We paid it for the peace of mind of nothing going wrong on the inspection day. This was not the caseLooked good and he even left me some free plates and covers so I could do some basic workJob 2:Shannon D did a great job! Rewired our shed in a single morning! Everything up to codeJob 3:Just had Richard D out to update a box for our water heater and he was professional and efficient.Asked him to check over the work of the first job and they weren't able to see anything that was done.Homes inspection found cloth wiring throughout the home... Probably going to cost 10k from other companies to redo and was given a ball park of 40k by Richard from job 3 while he was here.I have spent 3 days waiting for a VP of sales and the manager, John, to call me and give me a summary of the work done on job 1. I have been sent the same invoice and "observations" multiple times. The reps on the phone are always polite but unable to help. Rebecca and Kate are the best as they always tried, but no one has access to leadership to get this done.But if you are trying to pay for a job, John is available immediately to get your card information. I have been told every 2 hours for 3 days that "someone would be reaching out shortly/this morning/this afternoon/first thing tomorrow" but I have given John my card number 4 times without delay.I feel like I need to schedule a service appointment with Brandon specifically just to get the information we need to progress through this sale.Lastly, on job 3 they wanted to charge me $145 to put on a cover to a junction box in the attic that should have been seen during job 1. It was 1 ft from the attic entrance and I did it myself in 5 minutes.So in the end, as a consumer, I feel like my money bought me a false sense of security and not much more. What has my $2,500 actually done for me? Can anyone in this company tell me? Did they really do anything when their own technicians can't identify what work was done and make comments like "It doesn't look like anything was done in there." And "There's still dust on all the wires like it hasn't been touched".Now we have a bunch of other companies coming out to do estimates for work that we thought was done already as we rush to fix a necessary repair in order to close on time.Update continued: so I finally got a call! Not necessarily in response to my inquiry but to this review. Someone will look into the situation but they had to ask me to change my review. I guess that's one way to get a response...

Carol KlineMy current but old HVAC system stopped working after several years of expensive repairs of short duration. I contacted Lickety Split because they had previously done a great plumbing job for me. They sent a knowledgeable and efficient technician named Jimmy. Jimmy put me in contact with their project manager Ed and subsequently Andrew and Aaron in the financial department of Good Leap. All these individuals went above and beyond to provide customer satisfaction which included a ten-year "can't write a check" warrentee. The work was completed in two days by two professional and knowledgeable technicians Austin and Reuben. I am once again very pleased with Lickety Split and highly recommend them for anyone's plumbing and AC needs. They are EXCELLENT!

We called them out to snake a drain in our kitchen at our café. It was a simple job that took over an hour for them to call us back with a quote of over $900. We just got it snaked by another reputable company for $330. It was a horrible experience on a simple plumbing job and the price gouging was. Crazy. Do not recommend!

I am disappointed with this company, all they are out for is taking your money. They tried charging me 2200 for 1 standard toilet install. I called around to other companies and was told it’s only 200 to buy a toilet yet they tried charging me 2000 more for the installation?! That’s disgusting!!

Chris came out and took care of several projects for me today. He replaced a couple toilets, repaired a shower that was not getting hot water and also flushed my tankless water heater. He kept me informed as to what he was doing and ensured that everything was completed to my satisfaction. I think that he even left my bathrooms cleaner than when he started.

We are so impressed by Matt H & Shannon D's work and helpfulness. We had numerous plumbing and electrical items that needed attention and they each took the time to talk us through what was going on and fixed the items in record time. Matt helped us weigh out our options regarding two toilets that needed attention as well as made recommendations on higher quality products so that we won't run into the same issues down the road. Shannon also was very thorough with checking all of our electrical items and helped explain how to test items in the future. We really appreciate both their time and help!

I’m currently out of state, this company went to my mother’s home to drain the septic along with replace septic motor. For someone who’s just trying to look after there mother, Mel one of the reps in the office made it her mission to provide me with great detail everything that was happening along with why things needed to be done. Not just here is your bill. From my mother’s point of view she said the workers were great. Explained everything before working kept her in the full circle of everything so she didn’t feel taken advantage of. It’s nice to have companies like this one around, taking the time with us customers instead of here is your bill.

Place is a joke. I just want a pipe moved and a permit. Won't let me walk in . Had to call the call center . Won't give me a quote. Only will do a 200 dollar service fee with home inspection. Would not reccomend these people are a rip off .

I've had a few local companies perform my A/C maintenance. Lickety Split's technician was the first who took the time to explain the parts of the system he was working on, and whether it was healthy or needed attention. Eddie also offered suggestions to improve on the systems efficiency. Excellent job, Eddie & Lickety Split!
