If I could give negative stars I would. We do not recommend them to anyone. They install faulty products and most of the technicians do not know what they are doing. Brand new AC installed in June 2025 and less than one month later they had to install a brand new one again. They have also damaged our property. They also messed up with a plumbing issue as well causing water leaks in our yard due to not capping a pipe. The worst.

When we lost power and lickity split came out to service our home I was told that I needed a completely new meter and new breaker. I was quoted over $13k. The next day I called a different company and was told that my meter and breaker were just fine and my issues were probably attributed to a loose connection. I will NEVER be calling lickity split again.This happened on Wednesday and here we are today on Sunday after going with the other company WITH power and no issues after being told by lickity split if I didn’t complete their recommended repairs my power would go out again within a day if I were to reconnect my connections.

I called Lickety Split AC, Plumbing & Electric for a leak and a sudden air conditioner issue. The technician arrived on time, was polite and explained what needed to be done. He fixed the pipe and completed the air conditioner repair quickly and left the area clean. I appreciated the professionalism, clear communication and how smoothly everything was handled. I left feeling confident that the problem was truly resolved and would definitely recommend them.

The unit turned off because there was too much fluid. A tech came out twice , and on the second time the issue was temporarily fixed because the unit needs a correct filter. The tech did not come back. The unit broke again. We ended up in a hot unairconsitioned home . They refused to make another appointment.

A technician came to my house Monday. No one has called me to discuss the issue with me. Just told my tenant a bunch of nonsense and that the unit needed replacing. I’ve called everyday since then requesting a call and have not received a call. Aeryn from the “call center” claims they are busy and will call. Its been 5 days. Aeryn claims he is the manager of Lickety split. This is very frustrating. Do not use this company. They will run you in circles, not return your calls and Leave you hanging. Now I have to spend another service call to have another AC Company come out

Lickety Split AC Plumbing and Electric provided fantastic same day service when my systems act up. We do not service portable units but our air conditioning repair was done efficiently by a skilled technician. Finding an hvac contractor who arrives promptly is rare. My work today was warranty work from the install of soft water softner and incoming water re-pipe. The outlet was not the right outside outlet with cover for the unit. Lickety Split replaced the outlet with the proper cover.Water wasnt feeling soft. Nolan came and checked it out. Found issue with the outlet AND salt was stuck at the top with none at the bottom of the unit so water softener wasnt working properly. Nolan has checked the water multiple times to make sure everything is working right. He also replaced the new tub spout with another one due to the mineral build up. These techs are AWESOME.

AC went out at 200am and house was 81 degrees. Booked appt with Lickety Split on line at 400am, they called me to confirm I still needed repair at 700am. Technician showed up at 830am , repaired the problem, and was on his way at 1030am. Very professional and very quick response by the company and the Technician. Will use their services again.

The emergency service experience with Lickety Split AC Plumbing & Electric was a roller coaster but I will give credit where due. To Mr. Stan and Joshua who assisted my family over the last two days thank you guys so much for being understanding meeting my needs as a customer and being effective, efficient, knowledgeable at your work. To the office staff however while you are all so pleasant as I explained to Mr. Richard COMMUNICATION is everything to your customers. We hate being told we’re going to get calls that never come, given unrealistic expectations, and if the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. All in all good experience but your SERVICE TECHNICIANS really made up for the lack of clarity and communication the office staff missed. I do thank you guys for everything but please work on better and more efficient way to disseminate information.

Well if they install anything and it doesn't work and you don't like it they don't care or even show back up to fix it they don't care if they leave an extension cord that trips someone and gets injured because it was literally left there by the onsite dope smoking installers who left it there across the porch steps just waiting to trip someone else they don't care. Tell all your friends and neighbors about this shabby shady company. I would leave no stars if it was an option.

Fast service but they got to my house for a backed up clean out pipe and they said my house needed to be repiped and it was over 7k and they could do it now and kept pushing but never discussed the blockage and how to get that cleaned out they just wanted to go under house amd change pipes.they were also there to check AC and the service guy said e could change the unit for 12k and they had financing for 82 dollars a month never even looked at ac to see what was wrong they thought they could scam me.. they flushed my drain pipe with water and charged 843 dollars but still same problem from house to street. Wont ever call or recommend company ever

Overpriced, they will take you for a ride or attempt to take you for a ride on every issue. Originally it started with my original service - a new unit. They promised it'd improve cooling, that it'd be better... Yada yada. $15k later and my house is still hot, and a year later - still hot. I have them come out today for a "free tune up" and oh, it isn't a tune up... It's an opportunity for them to try to sell me more stuff that either should have been handled the first time or they "missed" the first time. A quote for another $19k to fix the issues and make the house cool... Yeah, right. Get out of my house and never come back. I will handle it myself from now on. Garbage company.

Highly recommend Lickety Split! Our AC decided to betray us in the middle of a Florida summer, and they were able to come out the same day. Jacob was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to explain what was going on without making me feel clueless (I am). He got everything fixed and our house is cool again, which at this point is all I’ve ever wanted in life. He also cleaned our disgusting coils and didn’t shame me. Just needed a AC inspection and price quote for duct cleaning. The tech found more and came up with a plan to fix it; not just repeat cleanings every year, but to fix the problem and extend the life of my equipment. We needed urgent plumbing and found Lickety Split AC, Plumbing and Electric by searching for a plumbing repair near me. They offered same day service and arrived the same day, which was a huge relief. Jacob showed up at the exact time that the office said he would and was not only very polite but very knowledgeable. He got everything in order to re- plumb the house and replace the well filter system that we had installed years prior but was the wrong system for well water and had it replaced with the correct system. These people are crooks. They installed a whole house water cleaner. They ran a cord to the system across the front porch and now the homeowner has tripped and fell over their shoddy work. On top of that the system hasn't worked since day one of shoddy installation. They have not attempted to correct the issue and the homeowner has asked them to remove it but they said they won't and the homeowner is still seeking medical treatment caused by crappy installation. Good luck with that lickety split. You've been warned...

I contacted Lickity Split to disconnect the plumbing under four bathroom vanity sinks and one kitchen sink in a vacant home before my fabricators arrived. Because Lickity Split required someone to be present, my nephew drove from Gainesville to Jacksonville and stayed at the property for the entire five-hour appointment window.Dalton arrived, and I spoke with him directly by phone in my nephew’s presence. I gave him clear instructions, and he quoted me $600. Dalton later told me the plumbing had been disconnected. I asked him at least three times, “Can I now schedule the fabricators to install the kitchen and bathroom vanities?” He repeatedly assured me yes and told me to call him afterward so he could reconnect the plumbing.This was critical because the fabricators had specifically warned me that they did not have access to a plumber and would leave without installing anything if the plumbing was not disconnected. Their next available appointment would not be until September.Relying on Dalton’s confirmation, I scheduled the fabricators for 9:00 a.m. Thursday. When they arrived, I received calls and video showing that nothing had been disconnected.I called Dalton 21 times with no answer. To avoid losing my installation appointment, the contractors had to urgently find another plumber. I was forced to pay an additional $600 to have the water shut down and the necessary plumbing handled.Dalton finally called that evening, apologized, and said he had been too busy to answer. Because of what happened and the additional money I had been forced to spend, he promised to return Friday morning and complete the job at no charge.When Dalton arrived Friday, that promise disappeared. He told me he wanted $2,700 to complete the job. I said, “You’ve got to be kidding me.” He then called his manager, who told him the price should actually be $3,000. I respectfully asked Dalton to leave.I also learned that Lickity Split may delegate some jobs to independent plumbers. As a customer, however, I saw a Lickity Split truck and a person wearing a Lickity Split uniform. Whether someone is an employee or independent contractor, when they arrive representing the company, I expect the company to stand behind their work and commitments.Most disappointing, I contacted Lickity Split directly on Thursday and filed a complaint about what happened, yet no one took meaningful action to resolve the situation.My experience involved assurances that work had been completed when it had not, 21 unanswered calls during the resulting emergency, an additional $600 expense, a promise to correct the situation at no charge, and then a demand for $2,700 that became $3,000 after a call to a manager.Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Lickity Split.

Wouldn’t you figure hottest day on record and our air-conditioning did not quit but took a little break called out lickety split very impressed with the tech Corey. Technical Incompetence, Predatory Upselling, and Appalling Customer ServiceUPDATE: The owner replied to this review publicly claiming they were "diving into this right away" and that management would be "reaching out soon to make it up to me." Another day has passed and absolutely no one has contacted me. My AC is still broken, and, again, they completely no-showed my 8 AM - 1 PM appointment window today. This morning I was told I definitely have the appointment window today. I had to call several times throughout the day to finally be told (after 5pm) someone incorrectly filed my appointment and it was rescheduled to tomorrow. How multiple techs contradicted each other and tried to make unnecessary upsells. How multiple multiple days of appointment windows were given, no-showed, and zero communication was given to me up to this point. And how the company tried to find a way out of liability for the re-work before looking into how their avenue out has nothing to do with the work they performed. Most appallingly, Lickety Split is fully aware they are leaving a home with a cancer patient without A/C for multiple days. Again, they have given me several guaranteed appointment windows, completely no-showed every single one, and provided zero communication. Not even from management.What kind of company operates like this?

I do not recommend this company they charged me 15k for ductwork and I did it SMH then they tried to say that my Electric panel was failing so they sent their electrician out and wanted to charge me $6250. I got a second and third opinion there is absolutely nothing wrong with my electric box. Just needs to be updated and it is gonna get updated for $2500. And to top this off they have been back 4 times since ductwork and needles to say I have no AC rn I had to hire another company and is fixing it in 2 days the only good person was my installer for ductwork Roshane Edmond he can get 100stars but for the company Shame on you guys for taking advantage of people and if I had the 6250$ in my had I probably would’ve gotten a new electrical box bc of how your people said they don’t feel comfortable leaving me in my house with my electric and scaring me like my house was gonna blow up or something! Im so glad I got 2 more electricians to check it out! People always get 2-3 opions before doing a big job! Big lesson learned for me and im out 15k😭😭 oh yeah and another thing they put 2 thermostats in and the 2 nd one that Jontae did it literally fell out after he left and I had to get another company to put back in bc Lickety never came back like they said they were SHAME ON YOU!!!

Use anyone but Lickity Split. I’m a first time homeowner and naively had my HVAC and ducts replaced. Our HVAC went out over a weekend last summer and they were the only company who was able to come out and look at our system. They were extremely quick getting out to tell us that our HVAC system needed to be replaced. We knew it was an old system so we were prepared to hear this, so we bit the bullet and had the system replaced. They quoted us $25,000 and it came with a 10 year maintenance plan where a technician comes out to inspect the HVAC every 6 months. The day after the system was installed, we had an issue with the HVAC not blowing cold air. They came out the next day and fixed the issue, which the technician said was due to the install work being done improperly. Following this, the city inspector came to check the work and found that certain things were not up to code and said he would send this info to LS so they know what to fix. By the time the first tune up was needed, these issues were still not fixed, but I was reassured that they would fix it during the tune up. Getting the technicians to show up when they are scheduled is nearly impossible. It took me over a month to get someone to show up to the house because I was constantly rescheduled. The day they finally showed up, the technician confirmed he was there for the tune up, but said someone else would be out to fix the issues the inspector pointed out. He also said he didn’t have the filter for the HVAC so they had to go to Lowe’s and pick one up. On top of that, one of the technicians was clearly stoned out of his mind. I’m not one to care about that, but it’s definitely not a good look with all the other issues I’ve had with the company. It’s now time for my second tune up and I’m running into the same issues with being rescheduled. They claim that they are too busy with emergency calls, which I understand, but when I’m put on the schedule for a morning appointment, I expect that I will have someone show up at the scheduled time and if they aren’t going to make it during the time window, I expect the company to notify me. Never once have I received a call about anything besides setting up an appointment or having them offer to come inspect my plumbing or electric. Every other interaction I’ve had was due to me having to call and see what’s going on because they simply don’t show up or let you know they need to reschedule. This company is run by sales people who are quick to respond when they think they can sell you on something, but once you’ve signed up, they could care less about providing any sort of quality customer service.

Okay, I was upset with the young Tech who came out to repair my air conditioner. My family and I were sitting in a 90-degree house. We didn't expect the air conditioner to go out after a month and a half away. Well, this young tech was excellent and polite. He really wanted to help us, but he couldn't. He called the boss at midnight & the process started to replace my unit. He promised that his team would arrive between 8 & 10am. We were glad that our RV was still cool, so we stayed in the RV last night. Woke up & his team was ready to go. I want to thank his staff for their professional demeanor. They left around 4 & one of the gentlemen started to ensure everything was operational.Since they did such a fantastic job, I wish them to return every six months to perform a semi-annual PM on my system. I have had this company do 2 jobs for me: re pipe my entire house and repair my AC. Every single technician and installer has been kind, courteous, professional, and efficient. However - behind the scenes is not the same. I had to make no less than 8 phone calls, sometimes calling twice in one day, to get a report of my plumbing issues for my insurance. Initially they sent me the wrong report. It took 4 more phone calls to get the right one. For my AC issue they had to order a part (totally fine). Promised me it would be in within a week. It took over a month. Then I had to call the office several times to learn that it had actually come in - no one told me. They sent a technician out who had no idea why he was there, and he ended up having to make an extra 2-hour trip to the warehouse to get the part. In summary - great technicians, great work, terrible organization, terrible office staff.

This business is a total disgrace. At exactly 6 months of a newly installed unit and duct work it all broke down. They sent out an intoxicated drunk man to fix the issue. The call center manager was rude. Not the first representative but the 2nd representative would not give an estimated time. And when I kept on insisting she just kept getting irritated. I'm the customer with an emergency issue and I needed someone out to my house as soon as possible to fix it. Definitely not a drunk man.

Our A/C was not cooling our home and was constantly running. I did call another company 1st, but they lied to me and never came out. Lickety Split came out did the inspection and told us what was wrong. The very next morning came out replaced our air ducts and cleaned the coils. Our A/C is now cooling our home. All of the guys that came out are 10 stars each. Thank you Lickety Split.Hunter was very good at his job. His customer service skills were on target. We appreciate the reliable air conditioner repair and would highly recommend them to anyone in Jacksonville needing HVAC service. We were really impressed with the plumbing side of Lickety Split. Lickety Split came out shortly after we moved into our new home. We quickly found out that the company who had renovated the house before we bought it had done a terrible job. Our HVAC ductwork needed to be replaced, we had a collapsed drain line under our driveway, and we were told before buying the house that the plumbing had been updated. Needless to say, we were completely overwhelmed.I will never forget standing in our driveway, newly married, wondering how we were going to afford all of these unexpected repairs. That's when Lickety Split told us they could take care of everything. They assured us they would get the house re-piped and repaired, and they gave us confidence that we were making the right decision. We trusted them and signed the contract.Two weeks later, we moved back into what we believed was a home we wouldn't have to worry about for a very long time. After spending roughly $50,000, we truly thought we had bought ourselves peace of mind. We believed we had a new HVAC system and new plumbing that would protect us for years to come.Fast forward a year and a half.We noticed the back three rooms of our house weren't getting proper airflow, so we called Lickety Split since everything was supposedly covered under their 10-year warranty. A technician discovered the ductwork had been installed without saddles, causing it to kink and restrict airflow. We were told it would be fixed. That was two months ago, and we're still waiting.Then came the final blow.JEA informed us that we have a leak between the main water line and the house. Naturally, we assumed this would be covered under warranty.It wasn't.That's when we learned something that left us absolutely stunned. While Lickety Split had moved and replaced the drain line, they had not replaced the home's water supply piping the way we believed they had described when they sold us the job. Michael was the electrician who gave us an overall safety check of our electricity. He called me when he would arrive and was on time. He explained everything to me in words I could understand. From the moment we placed the call for service until the service was complete, we had exceptional service. Our AC wasn’t blowing cool air and though we had a service plan with another company, that company failed to provide ANY service. Called Lickety Split and was greeted by the friendliest customer service representative that understood our request and was very helpful. We were told we would have a tech come out the same day. We received a call literally 10-15 later letting us know our tech would be to our house within 20 mins. He arrived well before the 20 minutes. Very friendly, very professional, honest and provided us with option to get our AC repaired. We were not in the heat for long and really appreciated the honest insight he provided us for maintenance of our system. Our tech, Marcus Andrews, left us cooled off, with more information about our system, reasonably priced, and with a trusted company to help maintain our home.

EDITED TO ADD: WOULD NOT RECOMMENDWhile they got me financing, my $13k unit turned into over 35k because the "financing" is with 2 leasing companies who want over $800 amonth between them! When I called Lickety Spilt, basically they said im on my own.My ac went out on Friday. I called Florida Heat and air who DID NOT accurately diagnose the issue, they overfilled my system and disconnected the ground wire. Couldn't order the part until Monday. I called Lickety Split who can same day, properly diagnosed all the issues and worked with my recovering credit to get me financing. Oscar and Wayne came out to assist and Kevin helped make it happen. I will be a customer for life!!! 😊

Called late last week and made an appt for their $49 special for AC inspection and tune up. Keenan arrived promptly, was personable and did a thorough inspection. He pretty quickly found an issue with the pressure on the air handler and spent a considerable amount of time narrowing down this problem, which turned out to be the 52 yo aforementioned duct work. After much discussion, research, and questions asked I decided to move forward with them to have new duct work installed. They made the financing part of the job quick, easy, and relatively painless, given the price. Not that they were unfair in the price just that I had no idea things were as bad as they were with the current ducting. They will be here tomorrow to do the installation and I’ll provide an update once that is complete and I can hopefully see the results translate to lower cooling/heating bills. Thanks to all involved so far from Lickety Split.

Robert Lynch was sent over after a couple of calls to customer service regarding a septic problem (under warranty)... He diagnosed the problem immediately, opened the tank, fixed the problem (a misplaced float valve), ziptied everything in place, closed the tank, replaced dirt/grass and took away all the garbage from the project...
