Flushed heater and service good. Then tested my water with a water tester I bought next day on Amazon to scare me that I needed a $6500 water filtration system. Never again. They tested water in a drink cup from their truck. They also made a mess and used a ladder in my residence without even asking. It was a terrible experience. Nothing but downgrading equipment I owned.

I really liked the near me, same day, and emergency service from Lickety Split AC, Plumbing and Electric. Their air conditioner repair service was convenient and professional. If you need help, I would start with them. They fixed my problem. Told me step by step what he was doing AND why. My service tech was wonderful, respectful, and very professional.

I would be glad to share that these people charged my aunt and mother 15000 . All they did is replace the duct work and 12 vents and put a roll of insulation. At the most it shouldn't have cost her no more than 5000. For 15000 she should have gotten a new ac unit. Taking advantage of 2 old ladies. God dont like ugly. 15000 was absurd. I know how much materials cost. I wouldn't use someone that takes advantage of helpless old ladies.

This has been a terrible experience with Lickety Split. 1st they offered me to com do a FREE tune up on my A/C. I figured they just take a look at my feon and change my filter. Which I have some to change. So the rep told me how my unit is old and need to upgrade my coils, etc. He tells me the cost ($13-20k). I tell him I can't do it due to I'm handling 2 houses (my deceased dad house in Tampa). So he said he would just test it. That was it. I let him do it and was cleaning up my kitchen. He could of done anything to my A/C and me not being wise to it. I trust them to handled because they handled my water heater greatly. Well I went out of town the next day. Was gone the weekend, came back and felt hot on Monday nite. Noticed when I was chilling. Got up notice temperature gage was higher then what was set. So I ask a friend to take a look. He said the the motor sounds working but no air C I ing out and my coils is frozen over so I turned it off. He told me to call Lickety Split back to see about it. So I text them with a bad review. A dispatcher called me Wednesday nite and made arrangements to come back out tonite-Thursday at 5:30. Well I rushed home in time and NOTHING!! No call or text just ghosted and/or ignored. Not cool I said in text and in the review. I mean I got enough going on and now this. Well Free is not always good. Not with Lickety Split!! Terrible service! I even gave out my pound cakes! Wow!! Now I have to call some friends to help get me out of the heat! Sigh! Soooo disappointed in Lickety Split!!

No experience, none wanted. Just think everyone should know that companies pay google to remove bad reviews. The BBB does it too. Ask your neighbors and message boards. Ive heard more bad things than good about this company. Please do yourself a favor and look more than google reviews for this one. Theres literal memes about how much of a rip off these guys are.

Lickety Split was available within a few hours of my call. They did the work I needed, but it was very expensive .All of my smoke alarms were going off at the same time, “fire, fire, fire“ when there wasn’t any fire or smoke around. To make sure it didn’t happen again they replaced all of my smoke alarms with lithium ion battery powered smoke alarms, and make sure they were all to Code. Cory Was very friendly and easy to work with. I enjoyed having him here.

This company came out so quickly and worked til midnight to replace our a/c and fix some plumbing after a car crashed into my house. They did a great job! That was 2 weeks ago. Since then there was a concern with the a/c. I have called 3 times to schedule someone to come out. I was given a date and a time window. However, no one ever showed up, no one ever called to reschedule. I called again and requested to speak with a manager. I was told I'd get a call back and never did! So, now I have to file this complaint so that potential customers are aware, once they receive payment....they don't care to honor their work or warranty. Still haven't had the issue addressed.

I called him late Friday or Thursday night Friday and I came right out and found what my problem was and put it in motion to get it taken care of. I’ve been in construction most of my life been a project manager superintendent on multifamily and custom homes and I’ve never had better service than what I had with them. They absolutely fill the bill.

This has been the second time I have called this company and they amazinghow fast they come and help me out. My thermostat was not working properly. The service man to begin with is very polite very efficient of his work. He corrected my thermostat. Without any hesitation, I asked him if he could check my filter I’m 84 years old and without a hesitation he checked, and I was very pleased and he was so kind and polite. I have told other neighbors of the work that this company does that I have been so fortunate to have them working on the things that I need help with. I’m sure there will be other things. Jonathan the tech was very thorough and had great information after service visit. They're relentless on great follow-up before/during/after job. If no stars were possible that’s what we would have given. We had an appointment for hvac tune up done this morning upon the technicians arrival we were asked are you sure you wanna do this today it’s a nice day or reschedule for another day? We assured them yes your here we have an appointment. After learning I was headed to work. They stopped me saying the homeowner needs to be present which is understandable after realizing that there was already a homeowner present and I was leaving for work stated well all homeowners need to be present ?? Needless to say the left without touching the system as they were here to do. From start to finish of a 2 min convo it was apparent they didn’t wanna do the job. After calling in to speak with a manager I was greeted with Aaron who said he was the manager. Aaron could not tell me why both homeowners needed to be present and kept going g back to did you ask the technician? .. I work in the service industry and seen red flags from arrival of technicians to so called management. I would not recommend wasting your time as I did. If they were that eager to get out of work just imagine if they actually got called to fix something. Later I received a message from the neighbor who insisted stay away!!!!! In what world do we live in when both homeowners are mandatory in order to do routine maintenance in the middle of a work week?

⭐ 1/5 — Extremely upsetting experience.I called Lickety Split because I was having an electrical issue in my home. I want to make it very clear that I am NOT an electrician, and I relied on the professionals who came to my home to give me accurate information.After inspecting the issue, I was told I could be looking at around $2,000 to repair my circuit breaker, and I was given an even more frightening figure of approximately $12,000 if the larger issue they warned me about occurred. I was also left with the impression that the electrical situation was extremely dangerous and that my home could potentially be at risk of a fire.Imagine being a homeowner who knows very little about electrical systems and hearing that. I was genuinely stressed and frightened.Thankfully, I decided to get another opinion instead of immediately spending thousands of dollars. I called another company, and the experience was completely different. They identified the problem as something so minor that they fixed it for me at no charge.Going from believing I could be facing thousands of dollars in repairs and a potentially dangerous electrical situation to having another professional resolve the actual problem for FREE was unbelievable.I cannot speak to anyone else’s experience with this company, but based on mine, I would strongly encourage homeowners to GET A SECOND OPINION before agreeing to an expensive repair. I am extremely disappointed that I was put through that level of fear and stress when the issue ultimately turned out to be minor.

They installed a air handler and did not put the information sticker giving the serial number and model number for warranty anywhere on the unit nor did they write it on the paperwork left with the unit. I purchased the home after the unit was installed and I’m left with no info. I called to ask for the serial number and they refused to give it to me. I needed it to get a replacement blower motor that started acting up. I will not recommend or use this company for your A/C needs.

The best service, got a new air conditioner outside unit for my mobile home came out for free diagnosis on my old unit for free check it out inside and out of the unit and told me what was wrong with it and we sat down and talked about how much a new one would cost and what everything I could get with a reasonable loan payment and had the new one here they started at 2 o’clock in the afternoon with me getting the diagnosis on the old one got the new one put in same day got here at 6 o’clock at night and was finished by 11 o’clock at night the same the same night the best guys polite well educated in their job made me feel very comfortable and I Couldn’t ask for a better company and I would go with them with any other thing that they offer very trustworthy

They’re crooks. Simply put. I thought my bathroom fan was broken, the person that they sent out told me that the fan was wired wrong and an a result it broke. He quoted me $700 and change to replace.I called around for pricing and a second opinion. The fan was never broken and it wasn’t wired wrong. It was just a quiet fan that didn’t move around a lot of air.If I would’ve trusted their diagnosis, I would’ve been out 700 bucks because other reputable places were charging me half that to replace with a new more powerful fan.

DO NOT TRUST!!This technician was extremely unprofessional and tried to pressure me by lying about fake faults in HVAC. He was not able to explain the details and got upset when I asked about the technical issue and quote before agreeing to his “made-up” repair of replacing some item. my AC worked perfectly fine and he claimed that it is not cooling. I have still not received their quote or inspection report which just proves that they lie and mislead customers by promising free inspection or tune up while they just want to rip you off. He was also not able to unclog the drain line which I ended up doing myself later. Refused to disclose his name when he realized that his lie was caught and that he was being rude and unprofessional. Here is his photo if the company’s management cares since Lickety Split asked me to write a review.Hopefully this helps other customers - beware and do your diligence. Best to not let Lickety Split even inspect anything even for free if such technicians are being sent unfortunately.

09/19/2026 at 11:30 amThis review comes from witnessing a driver in a Lickety Split AC, Plumbing and Electric van accelerating and speeding while entering the Tommy Hazouri Sr. Park located at 14780 Mandarin Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32223. I would never call for service. Who wants a technician working on the HVAC equipment who can't respect their company van nor respect the speed zone?!! The driver could have really hurt folks walking along the roadway!! The van exited the park too quickly to get a picture of their license plate.

I was disappointed with my experience with Lickety Split, particularly the scheduling, follow-up communication, and proposed solutions.There were scheduling problems on two different days. They initially wanted to come much earlier than I was available, so I had to specifically direct them to come later. Even after arranging the later times, they arrived very late. This made scheduling the service unnecessarily difficult.The technician, Lance, was helpful while he was at my home. He explained that my HVAC system was rated at approximately 0.20 inches of water column but was measuring approximately 0.40. He told me that the ductwork appeared to be too small and also identified mold/microbial growth. Lance took pictures and specifically told me that I could receive copies of them.Unfortunately, the follow-up was very frustrating. I had to request the estimates approximately SIX times before I finally received them. I subsequently called and spoke with a manager because I wanted the diagnostic findings and the pictures Lance told me I could have. Despite multiple requests, the company has not provided them to me.I am also concerned that the proposed solutions do not appear to address what their own technician told me was the underlying cause of the airflow/static-pressure problem. Lance told me that the ductwork was too small, yet the written options I received primarily proposed combinations of a UV light, duct cleaning, AHU sanitization, a hard-start kit, and an airflow/static diagnostic. None of the estimates I received clearly specifies enlarging or correcting the allegedly undersized ductwork.A UV light may help control microbial growth, cleaning may address contamination, and a hard-start kit relates to compressor starting, but these measures by themselves would not correct undersized ductwork if that is actually causing the excessive static pressure.The proposed options ranged from hundreds of dollars to nearly $2,000. Before spending that amount of money, I think it is reasonable for a customer to receive the diagnostic findings, photographs, actual measurements, and an explanation of how the proposed work addresses the underlying problem.I appreciated Lance explaining his findings during the visit. My dissatisfaction is primarily with the scheduling, repeated difficulty obtaining the estimates, the failure to provide the diagnostic documentation and photographs I was told I could receive, and the apparent disconnect between the problem Lance described and the solutions contained in the written estimates.I would be happy to update my review if management provides the promised photographs and diagnostic information and explains how the proposed work will correct the underlying static-pressure problem.ADDENDUM, what direct phone number, days, times can I call? what email address to correct this?

A genuinely frustrating company to work with. They replaced our ac ducts, and when we had issues with it, they had to come out 4 times to still not know what was going on with it. We hired a different company to look at the issue, they were able to diagnose it immediately. Lickety split installed the ac ducts incorrectly. They cannot make it to the appointments they schedule within a reasonable timeline, they are always late (if they show up at all) even though they give themselves a 5 hr window to arrive. You call and get ai bots, you message them and it's ai messengers. It's nearly impossible to get a human with a brain to your door. I've been waiting for this repair to happen for over a month, and we keep getting dragged around. Do not waste your time or money. We spent a TON of money to have this much of an issue.

I really liked the convenient same day emergencyservice from Lickety Split AC, Plumbing, etc. Our sink plumbing was not draining and we couldn't do anything. Lickety Split replaced our very old water purifier and repaired all the draining. The great workers even fixed my washing machines drainer! I wish we had gotten them over earlier because the repair and replacement they did is so great. If we're having any other issues Lickety Split can fix, we'll definitely call them! Thanks.

We had a minor issue when a new unit was put in, wasn’t the A/C it was the wall behind the space it was put into, there was hot air coming through the wall this was between the garage and laundry room where the unit was. After a thorough search where air was coming in at they finally decided to take the complete unit out and put up drywall behind the unit, and replaced the unit, problem solved. I already hooked up the wire for the light switch but it did not turn on. Not sure what I did wrong I have changed so many in my time I thought it had something to do with the dimmer switch. I had a LS technician come out for a job. He looked at it and said it would be 495 to fix. That was an outrageous price. I thanked him and called another certified electrician. He came out and looked at it and asked one question “is there another switch to the light.” Of course I didn’t think of the other switch as the previous owner didn’t have it installed correctly. They made it like a kill switch vs have it be a relay. He said just flip the switch and it worked. I paid him his 150 price we discussed before he even came out. I sent the same photo to lickety split and the other electrician. Even though it was my ignorance, it shows you that this company LS is more about the money than customer service. The guy that came out probably knew that was the problem. But wanted to take advantage. Don’t hire this company.

Got a quote last Friday 9/4, signed a contract and put 50% down and they were to come later that day at 2:30 to reseal all ac ducts. They then pushed time back to 4 then to 5pm. We said 5 wouldn’t work so they agreed to 4 but no one showed until 4:45pm. Two guys show up and we’re not prepared to do the job as quoted and in contract. Back and forth between them, scheduled, and sales guy and they left. Scheduler called back stating they could come sat or Monday but neither worked for us. Agreed to today between 8-10am. It is 10:52am and we are getting the run around and have called requesting a manager and was told one would call right back. We are requesting a refund yet no one has responded to us.

I normally don’t do reviews especially bad ones, but I think this one is warranted. If I could Lickety Split of Jacksonville would not even get a 1 star. Let me explain and sorry for being so long.Tuesday, Aug 18, we had a tech come to the house to tune up our A/C. It started out good till he open the main handler in the garage. He found that it had mold and other stuff from the duck work. When he went up in the attic he found that there was a hole in the duck work and it had been sucking in instillation. He made a call to a project manager. I made the mistake and did not get a second opinion but went with them. They quoted us a $14,000 job to replace the ducking. Now before I go any further, please let me know tell you that we are a household on a very tight budget because my husband is retired. They did not offer us any discount for being senior citizens or the fact that my husband is a vet. Nothing.The next day 2 techs show at around 10 am. Yes, 10 am. First they turned off the A/C, then they started to tear out all of the duck work. During this time, they turn the A/C back on, at which at first I did not mind, to help them up in the attic. This went on for 3 days. On the 3rd day only one of the tech show up to finish the job. Near the end, he mis-step and almost came thru the ceiling. He is fine, he was able to catch himself. He informed us that someone would be out the next day, Saturday, to fix the now hole. Nope no one showed up. No call from the company. We finally called, and was told it would be Sunday. Sure enough a tech showed up to fix the hole, at this point it was almost 2 or 3 in the afternoon. At this point we were told that a tech would be out on Monday to clean the hot water heater, this was to offset all of the issues. Nope no show and no call. On Tuesday, 8/25, a tech finally showed up at 8.00 pm to re-turn the A/C handler. We told him that something was not right because the 2 spare bedrooms and the main bath were hot. He looked up in the attic, and said there was an issue. He supposedly call a project manager and then left. We made a call, the guy that I spoke to was to have called us back, Nope, once again, no communication. I call Wed 8/26 to talk with a manager, I suppose did, but the way she responded was not in any way a manager that cares about their company and making a bad issue right talked. We finally found out around 10am that a tech would be out to our house around 1-6pm. Nope no tech. I can’t even say they are not going to get paid because the finance company has already paid them even thou we have not told them the job is complete. At this point I hate to see what my electric bill is going to be for this month because of this past week and half, and do you think they are going to help. NOPE.

I will start by saying it is best to avoid this company. It took them weeks to complete the original installation, and now that it's time for checkup under warranty, they are just as incompetent. They were scheduled to be here at 3 in the afternoon, so I took some time off work. I heard nothing from them until 10P.M. I didn't answer because it was so late. I got another call at 10:15, which I again refused to answer. Then a few minutes later I received a text saying they wanted to inspect my AC unit. I refused. Their first mistake is calling me 7 hours later than the appointment time, not to mention it was almost 10:30 at night and I had to work the next day. Secondly, I don't believe for a minute you send someone for a routine inspection at that late hour. Maybe if it was an emergency I could see it. There's no way I'm letting a complete stranger in my house at that time of day. I consider this very poor management and want to reiterate STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!New review, august 24,2026.WORST COMPANY I EVER WORKED WITH!!!The only reason I give 1 star is because I can't leave less, and the only reason I am using them for tune-up is because it came free with the installation . I have scheduled 3 times for AC tune up, taken 3 different mornings off work to wait for them, and 3 different times they were a no show! As I said in my last review after the new installation, lickety split STILL SUCKS!!!!! NEVER USE THEM FOR ANYTHING!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. We do not recommend them to anyone. They install faulty products and most of the technicians do not know what they are doing. Brand new AC installed in June 2025 and less than one month later they had to install a brand new one again. They have also damaged our property. They also messed up with a plumbing issue as well causing water leaks in our yard due to not capping a pipe. The worst.

The emergency service experience with Lickety Split AC Plumbing & Electric was a roller coaster but I will give credit where due. To Mr. Stan and Joshua who assisted my family over the last two days thank you guys so much for being understanding meeting my needs as a customer and being effective, efficient, knowledgeable at your work. To the office staff however while you are all so pleasant as I explained to Mr. Richard COMMUNICATION is everything to your customers. We hate being told we’re going to get calls that never come, given unrealistic expectations, and if the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. All in all good experience but your SERVICE TECHNICIANS really made up for the lack of clarity and communication the office staff missed. I do thank you guys for everything but please work on better and more efficient way to disseminate information.

Overpriced, they will take you for a ride or attempt to take you for a ride on every issue. Originally it started with my original service - a new unit. They promised it'd improve cooling, that it'd be better... Yada yada. $15k later and my house is still hot, and a year later - still hot. I have them come out today for a "free tune up" and oh, it isn't a tune up... It's an opportunity for them to try to sell me more stuff that either should have been handled the first time or they "missed" the first time. A quote for another $19k to fix the issues and make the house cool... Yeah, right. Get out of my house and never come back. I will handle it myself from now on. Garbage company.

Michael was the electrician who gave us an overall safety check of our electricity. He called me when he would arrive and was on time. He explained everything to me in words I could understand. He answered my questions well and gave us the personal and professional touch. He did not stay to gab afterward, but did tell us when he was finished so we could lock up the house again. From the moment we placed the call for service until the service was complete, we had exceptional service. Our AC wasn’t blowing cool air and though we had a service plan with another company, that company failed to provide ANY service. Called Lickety Split and was greeted by the friendliest customer service representative that understood our request and was very helpful. We were told we would have a tech come out the same day. We received a call literally 10-15 later letting us know our tech would be to our house within 20 mins. He arrived well before the 20 minutes. Very friendly, very professional, honest and provided us with option to get our AC repaired. We were not in the heat for long and really appreciated the honest insight he provided us for maintenance of our system. Our tech, Marcus Andrews, left us cooled off, with more information about our system, reasonably priced, and with a trusted company to help maintain our home.

EDITED TO ADD: WOULD NOT RECOMMENDWhile they got me financing, my $13k unit turned into over 35k because the "financing" is with 2 leasing companies who want over $800 amonth between them! When I called Lickety Spilt, basically they said im on my own.My ac went out on Friday. I called Florida Heat and air who DID NOT accurately diagnose the issue, they overfilled my system and disconnected the ground wire. Couldn't order the part until Monday. I called Lickety Split who can same day, properly diagnosed all the issues and worked with my recovering credit to get me financing. Oscar and Wayne came out to assist and Kevin helped make it happen. I will be a customer for life!!! 😊

Lou was amazing! He came in and accessed everything honestly and was very professional and friendly. The installers were very polite when explaining everything after the installation. One gave me very helpful tips. They were also very professional while doing the install. Very happy I went with them.They replaced the hot water heater, my kitchen faucet, garbage disposal and redid all plumbing underneath the kitchen sink.

Everyone from Lickety Split that I came in contact with was, friendly, professional and very efficient.Chris and Carlos was the main team that competed the work on my house. They were extremely hard-working, they did not stop from the time they arrived at my home to the time they left in the evening. Chris was the lead on the project and he was amazing! Called late last week and made an appt for their $49 special for AC inspection and tune up. Keenan arrived promptly, was personable and did a thorough inspection. He pretty quickly found an issue with the pressure on the air handler and spent a considerable amount of time narrowing down this problem, which turned out to be the 52 yo aforementioned duct work. After much discussion, research, and questions asked I decided to move forward with them to have new duct work installed. They made the financing part of the job quick, easy, and relatively painless, given the price. Not that they were unfair in the price just that I had no idea things were as bad as they were with the current ducting. They will be here tomorrow to do the installation and I’ll provide an update once that is complete and I can hopefully see the results translate to lower cooling/heating bills. Thanks to all involved so far from Lickety Split.

Jacob and John were absolutely awesome. Jacob went ABCD (Above the call of duty). He made me feel like I was the only customer that he had ever had. The work was professionally done with explanations given At every step. The work was also Done at a Very fair price. After Jacob completed his work, then John arrive shortly after and spent the next 3 1/2 to 4 hours meticulously cleaning the unit. I was very impressed with the company overall And will use them every time I need HVAC work done

Robert Lynch was sent over after a couple of calls to customer service regarding a septic problem (under warranty)... He diagnosed the problem immediately, opened the tank, fixed the problem (a misplaced float valve), ziptied everything in place, closed the tank, replaced dirt/grass and took away all the garbage from the project... All in two hours... This man is a hidden treasure of Lickety Split, give him a raise!

Had a big problem with a leak in my plumbing/shower and Robert came and got everything fixed up. Not only he was extremely knowledgeable, but the thing that stuck out the most was his professionalism and his courtesy. Made us feel comfortable that no matter what the issue was that he was going to fix it. Takes pride in his work and it shows. Will definitely call again.
