I had an excellent experience with Same Day AC Service. From the first phone call to the completion of the work, their customer service was outstanding. They arrived exactly when they said they would, kept me informed throughout the process, and provided great communication every step of the way.The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I especially appreciated that they were honest about the issue and did not try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs or services. They treated my home with respect and left everything clean when they were finished.What really impressed me was the follow-up. Oscar, Jacob, Josh, and JC all did a fabulous job! They were conscientiousness polite, and very hard working. It was 130 degrees in our attic and they kept on working religiously. They were so respectful that no matter how tired they were each night they insisted on cleaning and vacuuming up any mess made and with removing old duct work there was plenty of. debris. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I own the largest Home Inspection company in Northeast Florida. Many of our previous clients have been directly marketed to by Lickety Split, and through fear and high pressure sales tactics were sold outrageously expensive and unneeded repairs and system replacements (many of which I’ve reviewed to be flat out inaccurate or unneeded). I’ve firsthand experienced the same nightmare service. They take advantage of and prey on the most vulnerable populations of Jacksonville, the elderly and ignorant - luckily I knew better. They are a disgrace to our city and anybody reading this review should be very wary of them. Stay far far away.

BEWARE! The most predatory business in the state of Florida, and it is shocking that they haven’t been shut down yet. Before I say anything else I want to point out something about their reviews: isn’t it interesting how their Google reviews have such a high average, and yet their Yelp (with hundreds of reviews, updated regularly) is a 1-star average rating? In fact, their BBB is not accredited and currently has a BBB red “Alert” on their profile, which’s states the following:Pattern of ComplaintsAccording to information in BBB files, Lickety Split AC, Plumbing & Electric has a pattern of complaint alleging Sales and Billing issues.Specifically, Consumers allege they contract with Lickety Split for AC Services only to be informed they needed extra services that they later discovered were unnecessary. They are asked to sign on a tablet without knowing what they are signing and do not receive any physical documentation. Consumers have also reported being unable to receive a copy of their contract when requested.Based on information gathered from other reviews and customer information, it appears Lickety Split uses the strategy of calling a customer immediately after service to pressure them into a 5-star review (possibly even offering something in exchange, such as gift cards). They may even use a strategy where they send a message out asking for your feedback: if you select a high star rating, it auto directs you to Google and posts there. However if you select a low star, it redirects the feedback internally- not posting anywhere.This past month, a news station in the Jacksonville area investigated the company. They cited the same BBB information as I did, plus more. Finally Ask Anthony made a story about this company. They are very quick, however, be REALLY careful. Very aggressive marketing practices. They pressured us to sign a document at 10 o'clock at night. I told them, "I have to go to bed" "can we wait until tomorrow?" "Can I have time to think about it?" "Oh yes, you can - he responded - but I wouldn't wait too long". Next thing I knew, the next morning, they got my husband to sign something and they took the money overnight, by 6am according to the CEO they had already spent all the money in supplies needed for the work. We did get our money back, but my husband had to make multiple phone calls because they threatened to take a percentage of the total bill. Very scary.

Was doing some bathroom remodeling when the house's ancient plumbing broke and started spewing water EVERYWHERE. I got on the phone with LS before we even got the water valve turned off and the wonderful Kevin was out within an hour. Everything fixed same day by a kind, timely, and honest professional, who gave us a pretty nice price considering the emergency call and the damage that had been done. Would absolutely recommend him.

Lickety split?First a lot of their 5 star reviews are fake or paid for. Next they are way over priced and they lie about so much. When they sell the job to you they lie to you before signing the loan and lie on the application to get you the loan. Usually about the amount of your income. Half of the time the office mixes up the assignments for the technicians making them completely lost and messing up the scheduling. One of the jobs they had they half way finish it and left the piping as a tripping hazard for my kids. They always ask for reviews for the technician that just left. Half of them barely know what they are doing. They offer you a gift card for lunch for you and your family if you leave a great review but in the end they gave you a $15 gift card.i had them replace my ac unit inside and outside. Then had cast iron piping redone as well as hooking up my draining for my outside washer. I had a couple of technicians that was good and they are polite. In reality at this point they deserve zero star. Also they train the technicians that you only replace the filter every 6 months but it’s supposed to be every month. They’re supposed to call me to schedule to do this washer drainage correctly and it’s been weeks still haven’t heard anything. Do not go to them now my pipe is busted bc the wind knocked over my ladder. If they did this correctly like they got paid to do this wouldn’t be an issue. Trying to get them out is a nightmare. They are over priced and don’t communicate very well to keep the appointment they made. They finally after a couple of weeks finished the project they started over a year ago. You’re better off not even bothering to do business with them. If you do ac work with don’t let them install the ecobee I’ve been waking up to it being 54 in my house even though I have it set to 68. The way they wired everything is incorrectly done. I’ve been having to use portable heaters to warm my house up. Being almost 20k and less then 2 years old it has too many flaws

Well our initial visit was great by Anthony. He promised $200 discount since I’m a Veteran which never came unfortunately. The next day Roby came fora replacement of a shower valve, a shower cartridge, and making 2 access panels was $2700. The tech had no idea he was doing these things and I had to tell him. The shower doesn’t get as hot now and he even took my Danco poli temp kit that I purchased myself, this is after installing kits that don’t match our shower heads, also no caulk was put around the temp selector plate which I’m going to have to do. No attention to detail, no customer care and value.Lickety split is a joke, go to smaller companies that actually care about you.Update: still no contact from this company and things are worse since their tech installed. Might go to the attorney general on this bs.

So we did the free AC tune up and got new air ducts. The tech said our unit was fine and just needed a contactor replaced. Got the new ducts and the techs were polite. They noticed we needed a pipe fixed and that's were most of the issues started. The plumbing department came out and tried to say they couldn't fix the pipe without re doing all the pipes for 20k. I told them no and another company came and charged us 300 and fixed it. Now here we are just 2 months later and the AC is acting up even though they said everything was in good shape. I called them a couple times and finally got them to send someone. The tech never came and didn't call. Then at 830 at night, 3 hours after they were supposed to be here, they called. No, it's 830 at night. Had a different company come out last night and we have a leak and need to have it filled and the leak fixed. They said the leak has been going on for awhile because it was down 6ibs. Yet Lickity split said everything was fine. Hmmmmm. I gave the two star because the technicians who did the vents were nice and polite. And the drop of 3 stars because of the plumbing department and now AC issues that should have been found.

My house was very complicated with the bathroom fixture which Eric Walden tackled as a professional. Also, he evaluated additional plumbing problems and solved those leaks as well! Technicians were awesome. They came in did their due diligence. Narrowed down to where our unit was shot. Was leaking in the coil, our original unit was working harder than it was supposed to. They were able to diagnose the issues, get us on a plan, and get guys to install a new unit the same day. The guys that installed the new unit were awesome as well.

From the moment we placed the call for service until the service was complete, we had exceptional service. Our AC wasn’t blowing cool air and though we had a service plan with another company, that company failed to provide ANY service. Called Lickety Split and was greeted by the friendliest customer service representative that understood our request and was very helpful. We were told we would have a tech come out the same day. We received a call literally 10-15 later letting us know our tech would be to our house within 20 mins. He arrived well before the 20 minutes. Very friendly, very professional, honest and provided us with option to get our AC repaired. We were not in the heat for long and really appreciated the honest insight he provided us for maintenance of our system. Our tech, Marcus Andrews, left us cooled off, with more information about our system, reasonably priced, and with a trusted company to help maintain our home.

Matthew was very polite and courteous. He explained everything clearly and kept me informed. He was obviously experienced and knew what he was doing. Unfortunately he had an accident while in the attic checking for any leaks in the vents. He slipped off of a beam and his leg came through the ceiling. Pic is attached. The drywall guys came later on the afternoon and repaired as least 80 percent of the ceiling. They will be back Wed afternoon to complete the job. I do appreciate the drywall guys staying so late to get the majority of the repair done.

Fast, friendly, same day service in St Augustine. The technician arrived early, diagnosed the in-slab sewer blockage problem quickly and had it working again in under 20 minutes. Matthew Hahn was our technician and we received the best customer service ever. In today’s times, it’s hard to find friendly, super knowledgeable and efficient help. While a bit pricey for the additional service of “jetting out” the sewer line, it removed all three blockages and cleaned the entire sewer line of all older debris; this helps prevent future potential blockages from forming and pricey return trips. A service well worth the money for the longer term. We were impressed with the professionalism and clear explanations. Yesterday one of Lickity Splits technicians (Chris de Kock) did a tune up on our A/C.unit. Chris is an exceptional technician, he was very friendly and professional in his interaction with us. EDITED TO ADD: WOULD NOT RECOMMENDWhile they got me financing, my $13k unit turned into over 35k because the "financing" is with 2 leasing companies who want over $800 amonth between them! When I called Lickety Spilt, basically they said im on my own.My ac went out on Friday. I called Florida Heat and air who DID NOT accurately diagnose the issue, they overfilled my system and disconnected the ground wire. Couldn't order the part until Monday. I called Lickety Split who can same day, properly diagnosed all the issues and worked with my recovering credit to get me financing. Oscar and Wayne came out to assist and Kevin helped make it happen. I will be a customer for life!!! 😊

I had a full house repipe done. This was a huge job! Everyone from Lickety Split that I came in contact with was, friendly, professional and very efficient.Chris and Carlos was the main team that competed the work on my house. They were extremely hard-working, they did not stop from the time they arrived at my home to the time they left in the evening. Chris was the lead on the project and he was amazing! He ensured everything was completed with the highest quality. He was very patient with me when answering my questions, and I asked many!He represented his company at the highest level.I strongly recommend this company for fixing any plumbing issues!

Awesome service! Had my entire HVAC unit go out on me, gave them a call, and they replaced the full unit same day as the inspection. The techs are super friendly, the office staff are super helpful, and you cant beat the warranty that comes with their work.If i had more than 2 thumbs I'd give them 10 thumbs up!

Wonderful experience! Our HVAC decided to stop working over the holidays. Jacob came out the same day, diagnosed and repaired our AC quickly and was very courteous and patient. We opted after the repair to have the ducts/vents cleaned and Justin came shortly afterwards the same day to complete that service. He, too, was polite and pleasant whilst undertaking that project and very flexible working around our many pets. Will absolutely use them going forward!

I signed up for the HVAC service for a year. Today was a scheduled visit based on the contract. They communicated consistently to keep me up to date as to when the technician would arrive. When the technician arrived he was courteous, informative, and efficient. Very happy with the service.

Called late last week and made an appt for their $49 special for AC inspection and tune up. Keenan arrived promptly, was personable and did a thorough inspection. He pretty quickly found an issue with the pressure on the air handler and spent a considerable amount of time narrowing down this problem, which turned out to be the 52 yo aforementioned duct work. After much discussion, research, and questions asked I decided to move forward with them to have new duct work installed. They made the financing part of the job quick, easy, and relatively painless, given the price. Not that they were unfair in the price just that I had no idea things were as bad as they were with the current ducting. They will be here tomorrow to do the installation and I’ll provide an update once that is complete and I can hopefully see the results translate to lower cooling/heating bills. Thanks to all involved so far from Lickety Split.

Jacob and John were absolutely awesome. Jacob went ABCD (Above the call of duty). He made me feel like I was the only customer that he had ever had. The work was professionally done with explanations given At every step. The work was also Done at a Very fair price. After Jacob completed his work, then John arrive shortly after and spent the next 3 1/2 to 4 hours meticulously cleaning the unit. I was very impressed with the company overall And will use them every time I need HVAC work done

Robert Lynch was sent over after a couple of calls to customer service regarding a septic problem (under warranty)... He diagnosed the problem immediately, opened the tank, fixed the problem (a misplaced float valve), ziptied everything in place, closed the tank, replaced dirt/grass and took away all the garbage from the project... All in two hours... This man is a hidden treasure of Lickety Split, give him a raise!

Had a big problem with a leak in my plumbing/shower and Robert came and got everything fixed up. Not only he was extremely knowledgeable, but the thing that stuck out the most was his professionalism and his courtesy. Made us feel comfortable that no matter what the issue was that he was going to fix it. Takes pride in his work and it shows. Will definitely call again.
