DO NOT TRUST!!This technician was extremely unprofessional and tried to pressure me by lying about fake faults in HVAC. He was not able to explain the details and got upset when I asked about the technical issue and quote before agreeing to his “made-up” repair of replacing some item. my AC worked perfectly fine and he claimed that it is not cooling. I have still not received their quote or inspection report which just proves that they lie and mislead customers by promising free inspection or tune up while they just want to rip you off. He was also not able to unclog the drain line which I ended up doing myself later. Refused to disclose his name when he realized that his lie was caught and that he was being rude and unprofessional. Here is his photo if the company’s management cares since Lickety Split asked me to write a review.Hopefully this helps other customers - beware and do your diligence. Best to not let Lickety Split even inspect anything even for free if such technicians are being sent unfortunately.

09/19/2026 at 11:30 amThis review comes from witnessing a driver in a Lickety Split AC, Plumbing and Electric van accelerating and speeding while entering the Tommy Hazouri Sr. Park located at 14780 Mandarin Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32223. I would never call for service. Who wants a technician working on the HVAC equipment who can't respect their company van nor respect the speed zone?!! The driver could have really hurt folks walking along the roadway!! The van exited the park too quickly to get a picture of their license plate.

They’re crooks. They installed 2 new units and installed them incorrectly, causing my utility to increase by 189% in one month. I reached out to them and they came and fixed their mistake. My utility bill was $1036 for one month. They said they would issue me a refund and sent me a check for $289 after waiting over a month and getting the run around. Now they will no longer accept my calls. They have no integrity and are just a bunch of scammers. Put my family in a bad position and never apologized once and were disrespectful as if I had wronged them. Whatever you do, don’t use this company. They’re liars and deceivers.

We went to them because the fireman said they do same-day electrical service and they came the same day. A little guy named David was so sweet. Did everything got done in 45 minutes cleaned up after himself and even had a great sense of humor after a rough day great price just everything was great and he really made the job much better his name is David and he was just wonderful. This company arrived at my home last week to conduct a diagnosis on my A/C system. Upon inspection they discovered a compressor that was DOA (They say). The prices to repair the sytem was 5,000.new compressor, 9,000 to modify the duct system and 15,000 for a whole new A/C system. Something didn't sound right. Today got another A/C company to conduct inspection and they found out that it was a capcitor. Got it replaced and the A/C is performing. I wouldn't trust this customer. At least get multiple opinions.

A genuinely frustrating company to work with. They replaced our ac ducts, and when we had issues with it, they had to come out 4 times to still not know what was going on with it. We hired a different company to look at the issue, they were able to diagnose it immediately. Lickety split installed the ac ducts incorrectly. They cannot make it to the appointments they schedule within a reasonable timeline, they are always late (if they show up at all) even though they give themselves a 5 hr window to arrive. You call and get ai bots, you message them and it's ai messengers. It's nearly impossible to get a human with a brain to your door. I've been waiting for this repair to happen for over a month, and we keep getting dragged around. Do not waste your time or money. We spent a TON of money to have this much of an issue.

I really liked the convenient same day emergencyservice from Lickety Split AC, Plumbing, etc. Our sink plumbing was not draining and we couldn't do anything. Lickety Split replaced our very old water purifier and repaired all the draining. The great workers even fixed my washing machines drainer! I wish we had gotten them over earlier because the repair and replacement they did is so great. If we're having any other issues Lickety Split can fix, we'll definitely call them! Thanks.

We had a minor issue when a new unit was put in, wasn’t the A/C it was the wall behind the space it was put into, there was hot air coming through the wall this was between the garage and laundry room where the unit was. After a thorough search where air was coming in at they finally decided to take the complete unit out and put up drywall behind the unit, and replaced the unit, problem solved. The company responded promptly and solved the issue. No more hot air.Great company to do business with, Fast, friendly, same day service that felt right near me. I already hooked up the wire for the light switch but it did not turn on. Not sure what I did wrong I have changed so many in my time I thought it had something to do with the dimmer switch. I had a LS technician come out for a job. He looked at it and said it would be 495 to fix. That was an outrageous price. I thanked him and called another certified electrician. He came out and looked at it and asked one question “is there another switch to the light.” Of course I didn’t think of the other switch as the previous owner didn’t have it installed correctly. They made it like a kill switch vs have it be a relay. He said just flip the switch and it worked. I paid him his 150 price we discussed before he even came out. I sent the same photo to lickety split and the other electrician. Even though it was my ignorance, it shows you that this company LS is more about the money than customer service. The guy that came out probably knew that was the problem. But wanted to take advantage. Don’t hire this company.

The issue was I was charged over $300.00 to remove a GFCI outlet and replaced with a regular outlet that I supplied.They told me no trip charge which was great however, this was a regular visit during normal hours.For one hours work this is price gougingI would not use them again

If I could give zero stars I would. Tech came out for a routine cleaning and insisted we needed the evaporator coil cleaned and the copper refrigerant lines needed to be cut and the refrigerant emptied and the lines cleaned and replaced. He said there was too much humidity in my home and the air handler was leaking water. I believed everything he said and agreed to pay $1900.00 for services. He said another tech would come back at 4 pm. Fast forward to several calls and a call from dispatch saying the tech was on his way at 9 pm. 30 mins later the tech called and said he was still 2 hrs away. I said that was unacceptable and I needed to go to bed. (Meanwhile my A/C unit started leaking worse than I’ve ever seen and my drip pan was filling with water- I had to use a shop vac and found he turned a valve the wrong way while doing his inspection - idk if this was intentional or not) I called dispatch back and said I wanted to just cancel the service and the appointment. The next day my card was charged the $1900.00 for services I never received!!! I called and explained everything that happened and said they must have made a mistake and my card should not have been charged. She said she would submit a request for a refund and quoted me 9 days for a refund!! I said that was insane and not acceptable. This was their error and I wanted my money back I asked for a supervisor call back and never received one. I have called them several times asking to speak with a supervisor and still nothing. I have since filed a dispute with my bank but it should have never come to this. How can you charge someone for work that was never done?! Beyond disappointed with this company and the lack of remorse for their actions and the unwillingness to correct their mistake and issue my refund. How do you run a company like this?!

Got a quote last Friday 9/4, signed a contract and put 50% down and they were to come later that day at 2:30 to reseal all ac ducts. They then pushed time back to 4 then to 5pm. We said 5 wouldn’t work so they agreed to 4 but no one showed until 4:45pm. Two guys show up and we’re not prepared to do the job as quoted and in contract. Back and forth between them, scheduled, and sales guy and they left. Scheduler called back stating they could come sat or Monday but neither worked for us. Agreed to today between 8-10am. It is 10:52am and we are getting the run around and have called requesting a manager and was told one would call right back. We are requesting a refund yet no one has responded to us.

However it seemed they couldn’t get it set up correctly, one problem after another. Until they finally sent BRANDON ( sorry idk his last name) . Brandon reset everything correctly. After buying a new house recently, I have had major plumbing issues, but Corey from Lickety Split came to my house and did a wonderful job figuring out what was needed to be done to fix my plumbing problems. He also discovered that my water in my house was so contaminated by testing it. I have been having health issues since moving into my new home. After Corey showed me how dirty the water is coming into my house, he gave me an option to rectify the water issue. Corey was very polite and knowledgeable about plumbing and made me feel very comfortable as a Widow. Many times I have dealt with service providers at my home that have shown me no respect or compassion for what I was dealing with, but Corey went well aboveboard with me and made me feel good about being taken care of regarding my plumbing issues. Thank you, Corey. He suggested that I get a softener/filtration system put in and it would help with my health and the entire plumbing system in my house. He called the office and they sent someone out without a couple of hours to install the system.Sean came out to my house at around 7:30pm and worked tirelessly until 4:30 am the next morning installing my softener/filtration system for me. He was very polite and courteous towards me. Sean explained what he was doing many times throughout the night/early morning. He did a great job installing the water system for me and explained throughly how it works so I would know what to do if there were any issues. It’s very rare to find such wonderful traits in young people/workers these days, Sean is one who has a great understanding for both his work ethic and his personal values as was shown to me by him that night. I would recommend Lickety Split to anyone in need of ALL the services they provide.My drywall in my garage needed to be fixed due to installation of my water softener/filtration system. Balaam came out to fix it for me. He did a great job. He was very courteous and helpful. He cleared up the area after the work was done despite me telling him I would do it!! Great Job!!!

The tech arrived at 1930 for a service call due by 1800 than 1900. Although reasonably professional, the call was for a sink, drain stop repair. He, for some reason, immediately went to my garage and inspected my water filtration system under the excuse that he had to turn off the main water valve, which he never did. He then tried to sale me a 15k water system at 2000, (8 pm). He never explained what the system had to do with my drain stop. I NEVER RECEIVED A QUOTE BEFORE SERVICE. I NEVER SAW A DETAILED BREAKDOWN OF COST. I NEVER RECEIVED A COPY OF THE BILL. THE CHARGE WAS OVER $350.00 FOR A DRAIN STOP REPAIR!!! Overall I felt like he was trying to make a big sale and "dig me" for money. I have priced the equipment, and I estimate based on your previous trips here, that it was about a $200.00 job. In spite of your recent bad press, I have tried to stay loyal. The amount of money I have spent for your services reflect that. I'm just looking for a fair service at a fair price. I was left with the feeling you have when someone tries to sale you a car at a dealership.

While my total experience is TBD as I have work planned to be completed I cannot provide a true assessment right now. My issue occurred during the record setting cold spell Feb 1 - 3 2026. I have scheduled repairs to be done. I will reserve my overall review after the scheduled repairs still to be completed. I will say the service technician appeared very knowledgeable about the issue and was very polite and represented the company professionally.*****All my work has been completed as of Feb 7th. The quality of work I'm satisfied with.I did speak verbally with the scheduling department and I told them that my only Disatisfaction was when they kept pushing the schedule window back 2 and 3 times up to 12 hours. That to me doesn't live up to their name Lickety Split not when you have made plans to be at home and the window continues to change. For my last work order, we just pushed the time out to the next day.Work was completed by knowledgeable technicians.

My ac was struggling during the heat wave called Lickety Split. they charged me 2 grand for a valve replacement. They took nearly a week to have someone show up to do the work. it’s been about a month and the ac will no longer cool again. Liquid has soaked the concrete pad and I think something was installed wrong or something is leaking now. For 2 grand my ac should not be breaking in a month.

Lickety Split AC over charged us for a service that should have cost half as much. We were charged over 5K to pull an air handler and reset it later. This was highway robbery! If my husband had shared this information with me before allowing them to do the work, they would not have been hired to do the job. So I have had to change my review as there were two very major issues mostly after the fact. When we called them for our "free" flush for a water heater that we had coupons, we were told they do not need them they just apply "a lie, they do not". One of them was for $1200 off of a new AC installation which we ended up "needing" I was told after paying when I asked why the $1200 coupon was not applied as I mentioned I had them when I called I was told that they could not take the $1200 off. But the biggest offensive and why we were forced to reach out for legal advice on what steps to take next and have been looking at business claims is because the main reason we had them do the work in the first place was to have them relocate washer and dryer hookups but AGAIN! after the sale we were told that was not part of the deal and they would not be doing that work. They then agreed to do it after the fact but the employee that was supposed to do the work has ghosted us! The company flat out refuses to do this.. when it WAS the whole reason for them doing the work in the first place... We got scammed basic for a "FREE" coupon. Stay away. I have also filed a complaint with the FTC just so there is something in the public eye to help warn others. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Called for a simple "free" water heater flush and to ask about the washer and dryer hookups then 35K later and that still has not been done...

I was due for my six month service, (I bought a brand new unit from them almost exactly 1 year ago). Lickety Split showed up within the designated appointment window. My semi annual service turned into needing the entire duct system replaced, parts were under sized, out dated, and dumping cold air into my attic. I'm frustrated that I was told my existing ducts were good at the time of the install of the new handler and condenser, and again skipped over at my first 6 month service. That being said, MARCUS WAS FANTASTIC!! He thoroughly checked the entire system, did the appropriate checks and calculations, and explained everything thoroughly. I have some basic knowledge of HVAC systems and it all made sense why my electric bill was steadily going up! My duct work is being replaced and new insulation is going in. While I'm out a significant amount of money for the second time, I'm glad it's going to be right this time, I hope. Lickety Split need to hire more technicians like Marcus that are passionate about their trade.

I normally don’t do reviews especially bad ones, but I think this one is warranted. If I could Lickety Split of Jacksonville would not even get a 1 star. Let me explain and sorry for being so long.Tuesday, Aug 18, we had a tech come to the house to tune up our A/C. It started out good till he open the main handler in the garage. He found that it had mold and other stuff from the duck work. When he went up in the attic he found that there was a hole in the duck work and it had been sucking in instillation. He made a call to a project manager. I made the mistake and did not get a second opinion but went with them. They quoted us a $14,000 job to replace the ducking. Now before I go any further, please let me know tell you that we are a household on a very tight budget because my husband is retired. They did not offer us any discount for being senior citizens or the fact that my husband is a vet. Nothing.The next day 2 techs show at around 10 am. Yes, 10 am. First they turned off the A/C, then they started to tear out all of the duck work. During this time, they turn the A/C back on, at which at first I did not mind, to help them up in the attic. This went on for 3 days. On the 3rd day only one of the tech show up to finish the job. Near the end, he mis-step and almost came thru the ceiling. He is fine, he was able to catch himself. He informed us that someone would be out the next day, Saturday, to fix the now hole. Nope no one showed up. No call from the company. We finally called, and was told it would be Sunday. Sure enough a tech showed up to fix the hole, at this point it was almost 2 or 3 in the afternoon. At this point we were told that a tech would be out on Monday to clean the hot water heater, this was to offset all of the issues. Nope no show and no call. On Tuesday, 8/25, a tech finally showed up at 8.00 pm to re-turn the A/C handler. We told him that something was not right because the 2 spare bedrooms and the main bath were hot. He looked up in the attic, and said there was an issue. He supposedly call a project manager and then left. We made a call, the guy that I spoke to was to have called us back, Nope, once again, no communication. I call Wed 8/26 to talk with a manager, I suppose did, but the way she responded was not in any way a manager that cares about their company and making a bad issue right talked. We finally found out around 10am that a tech would be out to our house around 1-6pm. Nope no tech. I can’t even say they are not going to get paid because the finance company has already paid them even thou we have not told them the job is complete. At this point I hate to see what my electric bill is going to be for this month because of this past week and half, and do you think they are going to help. NOPE.

I will start by saying it is best to avoid this company. It took them weeks to complete the original installation, and now that it's time for checkup under warranty, they are just as incompetent. They were scheduled to be here at 3 in the afternoon, so I took some time off work. I heard nothing from them until 10P.M. I didn't answer because it was so late. I got another call at 10:15, which I again refused to answer. Then a few minutes later I received a text saying they wanted to inspect my AC unit. I refused. Their first mistake is calling me 7 hours later than the appointment time, not to mention it was almost 10:30 at night and I had to work the next day. Secondly, I don't believe for a minute you send someone for a routine inspection at that late hour. Maybe if it was an emergency I could see it. There's no way I'm letting a complete stranger in my house at that time of day. I consider this very poor management and want to reiterate STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!New review, august 24,2026.WORST COMPANY I EVER WORKED WITH!!!The only reason I give 1 star is because I can't leave less, and the only reason I am using them for tune-up is because it came free with the installation . I have scheduled 3 times for AC tune up, taken 3 different mornings off work to wait for them, and 3 different times they were a no show! If I could give negative stars I would. We do not recommend them to anyone. They install faulty products and most of the technicians do not know what they are doing. Brand new AC installed in June 2025 and less than one month later they had to install a brand new one again. They have also damaged our property. They also messed up with a plumbing issue as well causing water leaks in our yard due to not capping a pipe. The worst.

The emergency service experience with Lickety Split AC Plumbing & Electric was a roller coaster but I will give credit where due. To Mr. Stan and Joshua who assisted my family over the last two days thank you guys so much for being understanding meeting my needs as a customer and being effective, efficient, knowledgeable at your work. To the office staff however while you are all so pleasant as I explained to Mr. Richard COMMUNICATION is everything to your customers. We hate being told we’re going to get calls that never come, given unrealistic expectations, and if the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. All in all good experience but your SERVICE TECHNICIANS really made up for the lack of clarity and communication the office staff missed. I do thank you guys for everything but please work on better and more efficient way to disseminate information.

They promised it'd improve cooling, that it'd be better... Yada yada. $15k later and my house is still hot, and a year later - still hot. He answered my questions well and gave us the personal and professional touch. He did not stay to gab afterward, but did tell us when he was finished so we could lock up the house again. From the moment we placed the call for service until the service was complete, we had exceptional service. Our AC wasn’t blowing cool air and though we had a service plan with another company, that company failed to provide ANY service. Called Lickety Split and was greeted by the friendliest customer service representative that understood our request and was very helpful. We were told we would have a tech come out the same day. We received a call literally 10-15 later letting us know our tech would be to our house within 20 mins. He arrived well before the 20 minutes. Very friendly, very professional, honest and provided us with option to get our AC repaired. We were not in the heat for long and really appreciated the honest insight he provided us for maintenance of our system. Our tech, Marcus Andrews, left us cooled off, with more information about our system, reasonably priced, and with a trusted company to help maintain our home.

When I called Lickety Spilt, basically they said im on my own.My ac went out on Friday. I called Florida Heat and air who DID NOT accurately diagnose the issue, they overfilled my system and disconnected the ground wire. Couldn't order the part until Monday. I called Lickety Split who can same day, properly diagnosed all the issues and worked with my recovering credit to get me financing. Oscar and Wayne came out to assist and Kevin helped make it happen. I will be a customer for life!!! 😊

Called late last week and made an appt for their $49 special for AC inspection and tune up. Keenan arrived promptly, was personable and did a thorough inspection. He pretty quickly found an issue with the pressure on the air handler and spent a considerable amount of time narrowing down this problem, which turned out to be the 52 yo aforementioned duct work. After much discussion, research, and questions asked I decided to move forward with them to have new duct work installed. They made the financing part of the job quick, easy, and relatively painless, given the price. Not that they were unfair in the price just that I had no idea things were as bad as they were with the current ducting. They will be here tomorrow to do the installation and I’ll provide an update once that is complete and I can hopefully see the results translate to lower cooling/heating bills. Thanks to all involved so far from Lickety Split.

Jacob and John were absolutely awesome. Jacob went ABCD (Above the call of duty). He made me feel like I was the only customer that he had ever had. The work was professionally done with explanations given At every step. The work was also Done at a Very fair price. Robert Lynch was sent over after a couple of calls to customer service regarding a septic problem (under warranty)... He diagnosed the problem immediately, opened the tank, fixed the problem (a misplaced float valve), ziptied everything in place, closed the tank, replaced dirt/grass and took away all the garbage from the project... Had a big problem with a leak in my plumbing/shower and Robert came and got everything fixed up.
