I have used several air condition companies in the past, but none of them equaled up to Lickety Split AC Company. Because I have had some bad experiences with other air-conditioning companies, I was very skeptical of Lickety Split. But, they were very patient with me. I have finally found an AC Company that I can trust.Thank you Lickety Split for your professionalism and a job we all done!
Kelly and Tiera were polite, knowledgeable and efficient. They took care to explain step by step their inspection and finished in the time they weee scheduled for. They represented their firm well and were professional from start to finish.
this CO will be out of business soon by the time I get my attorney involved. The 79.00 is nothing but a sales tactic to get u to your home and then claim all this stuff that is wrong is a lie. Than the Lord above I did not let them rip me off for 1800$$$. I ran them off. I hired fenwick had issues fix in an couple hours for 474.00. Do Not fall for their scans.
Would give zero stars if I could!!!!Came out, did not perform service paid for. Said they only came on a service diagnosis not what the special offer we called them for. The ad said $79 clean the line between 8am and 5pm. We were later told that we needed $8-10k in re work and were told to apply for their special financing. When we said we wanted the service we paid for we were told it was only a diagnosis. Called in his supervisor to help pressure the financing. We requested a written estimate if it was “ONLY A DIAGNOSIS” trip. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ONE STATING WHO EVER ELSE COMES OUT, needs to do their own diagnostic. Later called the off and they said we can get the estimate from there and it was emailed. Once we got the email, the price was over $20k plus and there were so many things added we never discussed or requested and I’m now convinced didn’t even need. This is a shame they prey on desperate ppl.
Great customer service! John and Arron came out to explain what other major plumbing companies didn't. Upfront and straightforward. They definitely exceeded my expectations.Thank you!
The plumber that came out to the house was great, professional, courteous, and got the job done in a timely manner. Thomas from customer service was friendly, professional, great company and now would use them again.
Set up an appointment to have septic tank pumped out and inspected. Was told by the associate it would be pumped out all the way to the bottom. When the truck got here to pump out they cleaned out half of it and I was told they don't pump out mud and water I'm sorry for 895 dollars it should have been cleaned all the way to the bottom. That was a 895 dollar Lesson well learned. I will be going with a different company next time probably one that cleans the whole tank not just half of it.
Hi, my technician was Drew, but I don’t find him in your alphabetical list.He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He handled my AC damage efficiently and professionally and ensured I was completely satisfied before he left.Thank you, Judy Horton
Lickety Split team members rock my world! I received the best professional experienced assistance to decide which HVAC system would be best suited to our needs, including financial advice which was crucial! I'm pleased to inform you and atest that you should contact Lickety Split team not only for Air Conditioning but plumbing and electrical! Seriously, Lickety Split is the answer to my prayers. Thanks to all involved in this project and especial thanks to Cameron., Austin A. and Elmer for your hard work, professionalism, dedication and polite manners
David did a great job! He did a good inspection I guess. Good guy and very professional. However, I only called for an inspection promo for $99. By the time he finished he informed me that the inspection he did was just a minor inspection and told me I had a wiring issue. I already knew that. He said if I wanted a more thorough inspection it would cost $500 - $1500 depending on how many rooms I wanted inspected. Seriously ..??Needless to say by the time he and his supervisor and trainee left my house I was about $500 down. After the "thorough inspection" we all talked about how much it would cost to rewire my home because that's what I thought I needed. No way I could pay $45000 to fix, what I thought was, a wiring problem. They never even mentioned a different option other than rewiring my entire home. It was straight to the money...lol. I should have known when three people showed up.Long story short, I never got a written quote, because they don't give out written quotes and I ended up paying $500 for two hours of nothing. I think that's pretty messed up but.....you live and you learn. And I've learned! I will never call these guys again for anything. I could have and should have just paid the $99 promo. Losing $100 is better than $500 especially at a time like this. And there's nothing they can say to me but "Here's $400 of your money back Sir, sorry. "
Good day, everyone.I reached out on a Sunday to inquire about the availability of an AC repair technician to service my unit. The receptionist promptly confirmed that assistance would be provided. Within five minutes of ending the call, Conner and Chris, the repair technician, informed me that they were on their way. They arrived promptly, efficiently resolved the issue, and swiftly departed.I express my gratitude for their prompt response, expertise, and efficient service.Thank you.
Mr. Padgett was professional, friendly and helpful in explaining and checking my sockets. He took his time and got the job done. I really appreciate his professionalism, explanation and concern in doing an outstanding job.
Gabe Hartley and John Marcos were excellent!!! They were very professional, knowledgeable and were very respectful in our home. They did an amazing job cleaning our a/c ducts and sanitizing them. Our vents and air intake grates are so clean. The air coming from the vents is so fresh. I am very happy to have met Anthony and Conner yesterday. Working with them and scheduling our duct cleaning and sanitization for today. And, we are grateful that Gabe and John were our technicians. I highly recommend them and Lickety Split!!! Thank you so much!!!
I’m very happy with my choice to work with this company on getting a new AC system. They have been very accommodating with my work schedule and awesome with communication throughout the whole process.I just had my 6 month check up and the technician was very professional and again great with communication.
The Lickety Split team was phenomenal. From Keshia to our tech Conner and his trainee and the manager Tyler - everything was smooth and the communication was exceptional. This is a great team and it shows in their dedication to the work. They took their time diagnosing our problems and had a quick repair. They were friendly and neat and even pet the dog. This was our first service call with Lickety Split and it will not be our last. Five stars, highly recommend.
Daniel did a great and professional installing our water heater. He answered all my questions and showed me how to operate it. Water heater wet out, I called at 11, Daniel was here at 5 and stayed until 9 pm to finish the job. I’d highly recommend
Had a few surprise plumbing issues pop up with a house we just bought, so this was our first time using Lickety Split. Our tech was Luke Emerson, and he was so awesome!! Very thorough and diligent in investigating/fixing ALL the problems we threw at him. Thank you, Luke!!!
Mr. Matthew Hahn performed a superb service. He inspected every sink and toilets for leaks. He also explained in detail what needed to be done before and after performing the inspections. And after cleaning the main drain he showed me pictures before and after cleaning the drain pipe.He was extremely friendly and professional. A great person and company to work with.
Great service! Technician Matthew Crews Is excellent! He was very courteous, tidy, on time for our appointment! All in all excellent job! Highly recommended!
PART 26th- When the job was finally completed and I still didn't feel right about the insanely high price, I made several phone calls to other electricians, who told me not to go with Lickety Split, because they were poorly rated on BBB and were known to price gouge their customers. All (3) of the electricians I contacted told me the job should realistically cost anywhere between $5,500 to $7,000. They then asked if permits were pulled on the job to which I explained I did not think so. Their response was call JEA and see if permits were pulled, because any upgrade in electrical service needed to be checked by JEA or a county inspector to ensure the job was done correctly and safely. They also inquired if Lickety Split in doing the job installed new AFCI breakers in my breaker box and I replied, "No." They stated this was now required as code and JEA or the county would probably fail their work until it was completed.7th- After hearing this information I called Lickety Split to speak with a manager or an owner. The receptionist stated she would relay the message, but I have yet to hear anything from the company. So, at this point I will be calling JEA and the County to see if they actually pulled proper permits.8th- I would highly advise you stay away from this company. The company price gouges, rushes you into a decision by using fear tactics, management does not give the employees proper products or manpower to finish the job in a timely manner and at this point properly did not pull permits or put the AFCI breakers in the box as they were supposed to. STAY AWAY SCAM ARTISTS!!
Matthew was the best. He had a great sense of humor was really good at his job and took the time to explain the charges and what he did to survey my problems. Great job Matt.
They make you either apply for financing or sign up for an annual membership to get someone out. They sent out a plumber when I asked for an electrician. The electrician shows up and his first question is how would you rate us!?!?! Well you haven’t done any work and yall sent a plumber first instead of an electrician. Then after 30 minutes here taking our fuse panel off and testing outlets he tells me it’s $445 to just look and diagnose the problem. The water heater was $450 brand new so what sense does that make. This company is extremely out of touch with reality and not who you call to get something fixed. I could’ve had any other company over to diagnose the problem for half as much in half the time. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.
Company full of liars and crooks. They came out last summer when our a/c broke and replaced a part to get it running again. We were thrilled to have had the problem fixed so fast and were sold on their annual maintenance package. During the first maintenance, we were told we had mold everywhere, including inside the ductwork. We were quoted 40k to rip out the ceilings and install new ductwork. Didn't seem right as our house is 35 years old and has never had a problem. We got a second opinion and were told there is ZERO mold. They actually said our ductwork was better than anything being installed these days. Furthermore, they were skeptical that Lickety Split ever replaced a part in our a/c as everything appeared to be original. Since this experience we have heard terrible rumors about how Lickety Split runs their business. Absolutely do not recommend.
Trying to be fair with 3 stars. The work they do is good, the process of getting someone to the house has consistently been a mess. I needed electrical work done to the house, someone came out, quoted me, drew up a contract, and scheduled a date. Crew showed up 4 hours late the scheduled day, were entirely clueless about the job they showed up to do, stayed for about 15 minutes and left without saying a word. After about 10 phone calls, another crew showed up 2 days later, prepared to do the work, and they were great. It took 2 days of work to complete the job, which was different than what I was told in the initial quote, but it is what it is, I understand you can't plan for everything. After the work was complete an inspector had to come out, the work failed inspection due to a surge protector being missing from the circuit breaker box they replaced. I waited about 4 days after the inspector left for LS to call me so they could come complete the work, never got a phone call so I reached out myself. The several folks I've spoken with at the call center kept relaying that my issue was "warranty related" and not "failed inspection". It wasn't until the electrician actually called me that he got the correct info as to what needed to be done. But they were supposed to be here at 8am, and nobody showed on time or called me until noon, and it's gonna be 2 hours before he shows up now. They do good work, but give them a wiiiiiiiiiiide berth in your schedule to get anything done. It's been over a month now from initial assessment to job completion.Updating this review. Ended up going with LS again back in January, this time for a major plumbing issue (collapsed pipes under the house requiring foundation to be destroyed). Initial quotes by the company estimated a 2 day repair job, and I only went with them because the pipe lining that could be done, they told me they were the only ones certified to perform, and I had previously been approved for enough financing to cover this project as well, from the electrical work they still left incomplete. If I had to sum this experience up in 1 word it would be "nightmare", and not because of the stressors associated with a major plumbing failure, but because trying to get anyone out here to actually do work has been the biggest headache I've ever had to deal with. My plumbing issue is still not entirely rectified, and they have left my house worse for wear since performing the work they have been out to do. This company has MAJOR INTERNAL COMMUNICATION ISSUES. On numerous occasions I have called the main telephone number to schedule a technician to come out to complete the work, only to learn that the production manager cancelled the appointment on me after the fact, to which he stated "the call center doesn't schedule my people, I do" which, okay. I get it, but the scheduled technician would get cancelled, and NOBODY EVER TOLD ME. I've been stuck in my own house on almost a daily basis for 5 weeks now because I never know if a tech is showing up or not. Even when calling the call center on an hourly basis when I'm on the schedule trying to find out where my technician is, 8 never seem to get a straight answer. I learned today that their departments have different schedules that they don't share with each other. The real icing on the cake though, is on more than a handful of occasions, a plumber has shown up, but they show up with no idea of why they're here, and no tools to perform any work! Every time that has happened I've had to be added back to the schedule 3 to 4 days later, and hope that someone shows up with equipment and an idea of what needs done then. The most egregious case of this is when they sent out their renovation guy to uninstall my hot water heater for my floor contractors to perform their repair. A final point of conflict was when they wanted to charge me another 1500 to finish the pipe lining they missed the first go around, even though it was their own fault they missed it.3 stars to 1. I can't honestly recommend this company to anyone. Not worth it
Extremely satisfied with knowledge workmanship and efficiency. Took the time to explain the issues at hand and provided excellent resolve. You have a valuable member on your team. Way to go!!!
Everyone I talked with at LS was excellent! They were prompt, efficient and just easy to deal with from beginning to end.Errol was the plumber that replaced my water heater. It was still under warranty and he was able to unhook it, take it to the distributor, return with the replacement and install the new one all in the same day. I had a few questions to better understand and was able to speak directly to the general manager. Joe walked me through the process and answered my questions. My overall impression is that both Errol and Joe take a huge amount of pride with Lickety Split. They are happily employed and this showed through to me from beginning to end!Thank you Errol for your friendly smile and sincere commitment to restore hot water to my home.A job well-done!
5 Stars – Fast, Professional, and Efficient!I had a stubborn kitchen clog that I thought would take hours to fix, but Daniel Brown arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, and had it resolved in less time than he originally quoted. He was professional, courteous, and even took the time to explain what caused the problem and how to prevent it in the future. The entire process was smooth, and I truly appreciated his efficiency and expertise. Highly recommend to anyone in need of a reliable plumber!
I recently had an HVAC system installed. The prices are competitive, and the employees see knowledgeable and qualified. Most of the process has gone smoothly, but there is a problem with the final outcome of the project. I have contacted them and am waiting for a representative to show up and remedy the situation. I will add to this after I see what the final outcome is and update my rating depending on how it is handled.
I had Lickety Split at my house on October 7th, both the plumber Clayton and air conditioning technician Joshua were great. They checked everything thoroughly and informed me of everything that they did and everything that needed attention. Thanks guys.
We had a backup with our toilets, John and Ryan came out, scoped the problem, showed us what caused it, then explained how they will fix it. Afterwards they showed us what the line looked and it was cleared, so gave us confidence the problem was addressed. Highly recommend Lickety Split for all your plumbing needs. I plan to used them for maintenance and future repairs.
Connor Overbay came to our house to give an estimate for duct cleaning....my husband and I were so impressed with this young man's professionalism and manners....On a scale from 1-10 he was a 30!!!!!
Great work and professionalism. Quinn showed up when he said he would, was great to talk to and the job was done quickly and most importantly, correctly.I will definitely use them again.
2025/03/01 Update:Work is incomplete and can't get a guy to come back to finish it. We agree to schedule but nobody ever shows up to finish the job. It's happened on 4 separate occasions and im left to constantly chase and follow up, and left wondering whats going on.Whats worse is im paying for a job that is incomplete since October 2024. Won't work with this company ever again.P.s. don't believe all the reviews. They bribe you with gift cards for 5 star reviews. Not worth it, spend your money on another more reputable and DEPENDABLE company.
Technicians are very knowledgeable and they have wonderful people skills. Explained everything very well and gave us options to make the job much easier!Be very careful when examining their documents and pricing...
Very professional service. Everything was completed to my satisfaction. Will use again for sureDaniel Brown came today and did fantastic job repairing tub diverter and also assisting in getting me scheduled for water filtration system. He was very professional and knowledgeable on all my plumbing systemsCody came today to install a filtration system that was not easy given the lack of space in my condo. He made it work though and in the long run I know I’ll be happy.
There name really says it all. I made the call to the office about 4:30pm on Friday, they were at my house pumped out my septic tank within 30mins. Lickety Split they were done. Great job guys
I called Lickety Split to get an estímate for a ceiling fan install. When they came it was not a tech but a Salesperson to upsell me additional services. I refused the additional service , I just wanted the fan installedAfter speaking with a manager he refused the installation unless I perchased the additional service.I am a homeowner for 30 years never had a Salesperson show up ínstead of someone to give me an estímate and perform the workI am a senior citizen on a fixed income, that served this country , 21 years in the Army with a combat tour in VietnamIt is a shame that a company would try to take advantage of it’s senior citizens
Thanks Daniel Brown and Arron Braswell. I really appreciate both of you walking me and my mom through the work needed to be done. In addition, thanks for explaining all of our options. You all really helped us during this difficult time.
Lickety split is honestly the best company in town. We had a problem with our AC unit and needed service they came to our house the SAME ! day.The customer service was like no other. Conner H. And Cameron explained everything that needed to be done thoroughly and showed me everything they were doing step by step. If I could give a 10 star rating I would. When you need service go with Lickety Split of Jacksonville. You will not regret it I promise!
Called with a/c duct problem. They got to me quickly and did a super job! Once again they came to the rescue!02/19/2025 -- Desean McGhee did the semi-annual service on my HVAC, suggested a hard-start module be put on because of the numbers that he was getting. made sense to me. he had a unit on his truck and was able to get it installed right them. Awesome job, Desean!2/26/2025 -- Again, for another duct resizing issue. Edric Sellon was here on time and finished up in record time. All is well on that part.2/27/2025 -- Rami showed up right on time to do the duct cleaning in my house. cleaned everything up nice and neat, great guy, great work!
Conner was very pleasant and respectful. He accomplished a 16 point inspection and did so very efficiently. He answered all my questions and was easy to understand. A real people person and professional.
I used the 50 dollar deal to check my A/C and they gave me an appointment for the same day with a 4 hour window 12-4. They called me later that day and changed to the next day and the next day they changed the appointment again. When the guy finally came I told him if he find anything just let me know I have someone fix it. He called the office and canceled the appointment because I said that and told me I ll get a refund ( a month later no refund
Thomas Mitchell came within a couple of hours after calling Lickety Split to pump out septic tanks, a hose broke but he went back to get a new hose, came back and had us pumped out within a couple of hours... Dedicated employee !!Update 2/26: Thomas Mitchell showed up (with advance notice text !), emptied both tanks and gone, no muss no fuss!So far still 5 stars, waiting on approval for septic replacement...
They're the greatest. Mike and Bryan came out the day I called. Thought just the septic tank needed pumped. While they searched for the tank(I couldn't remember where it was)they finally had to use a camera, that they had, to find it. After they cleaned the tank, the problem still existed . They then cleaned the pipes. Then the problem still was there. One commode worked the other didn't. They followed thru till all was working properly. Both men were very cheerful throughout the entire time. Very respectful and caring. I'm really completely thrilled with their service and would not hesitate to call them again. LICKETY SPLIT
