Couldn't find the problem so all of a sudden a third worker showed up in full force sales mode stating we needed to replace out AC unit and all ducts in a 2 year old house and then got a "manager" on the phone to offer us a great deal of $26,000, TWENTY SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS and asked how our credit was. Um excuse me but what business is that of yours? Ended up calling the company who installed the unit and they immediately found the issue and fixed it for free because it was still under warranty.Avoid Lickity Split at all costs.

Scam artists. Tried to charge my grandmother 1000 bucks to fix a broken pipe on her water heater and tried to tell her that’s because it’s outdated and the new pvc pipe won’t fit on her model and they would have to do “custom” repairs and eventually told her she should let them install a new one. Thankfully she called me before signing anything.

Fast, friendly, same day service in St Augustine. The technician arrived early, diagnosed the in-slab sewer blockage problem quickly and had it working again in under 20 minutes. Matthew Hahn was our technician and we received the best customer service ever. In today’s times, it’s hard to find friendly, super knowledgeable and efficient help. While a bit pricey for the additional service of “jetting out” the sewer line, it removed all three blockages and cleaned the entire sewer line of all older debris; this helps prevent future potential blockages from forming and pricey return trips. A service well worth the money for the longer term. We were impressed with the professionalism and clear explanations. If I could get a negative star, it would be for this company. They are aggressive, they railroad they take advantage and they overcharge. I had a job that should’ve been about 15k and was charged 27k. And they railroaded me thinking I was getting a quote and then they ended up doing service. I know I got taken advantage by letting them do that, but the fact that they take such advantage means they should be out of business. I Reported them to the Florida Department of business and I’m am working with a legal team to make sure they know that I won’t take this treatment from them. Even if it costs me money, I will go after them as principal. Horrible horrible company they should be put out of business.

We needed our AC serviced, turns out we needed the entire unit replaced as it was 20+ years old. Did some research after the initial check and see some pretty negative reviews. Lickety Split replaced a toilet which ended up leaking and flooding an adjoining room in my home. Now they want to send out a "qualified plumber" to re-do my floors. The people you talk to are sweet as pie but there is no real problem solving. I have been getting the run around for over a month. I suggest anyone thinking about using this company use literally anyone else.

I have received an unwanted and steady stream of advertising from this firm. They send out non-recyclable plastic ads through the mail. When I called and asked to be removed from the mailing list I was told they could not do it and that I should talk to the post office about it. Of course the post office says they can do nothing and it is the responsibility of the company to stop the mailings. Meanwhile, tons of unwanted plastic is going into landfills for no reason. Until they stop this practice I would avoid them as they are not sensitive to environmental concerns.

Called to schedule the annual HVAC maintenance plan. They took my money and promised to show up between 9 and 1 but said we were first for the day. Then received a text that the tech was late at 12:15. Requested a refund and was told they would talk to the manager and see if that was an option. Never heard back again and after another 3 hours had to call and then was told they cancelled the tech and I should be refunded but no one ever contacted to let me know.They want money up front, can’t maintain their already ridiculous arrival window and the. Have terrible communication. Call a mom and pop these people don’t care.

However, I was extremely dissatisfied with the pricing for what ultimately appeared to be a minor GFCI-related repair and diagnostic service. $800 for an inspection and to fill freon that was empty, they couldn't find the freon leak so suggested a $3000 copper line replacement because "the leak must be in the line under the house if we can't find it on the unit" upon leaving they removed all the freon that i paid for and left me with no heat on the coldest night of winter of the year. Called a friend the next day and he found and fixed it on the outside unit in under 1hr.

I had the worst experience ever. I would give them a zero if I can. They kept changing my appointment after I made an appointment a week in advance. I asked for a quote for duct cleaning. I was wondering why it took over a hour to look at my ducts and give me a quote. They took my AC apart and the next day my unit iced over inside and outside. Never in the history of my home has this ever happened. There was nothing wrong with my unit before they came out.

We needed an estimate on a deep well pump system. The tech came promptly the next day early as was stated on the initial phone call. He was so personable, professional and knowledgeable about deep well pumps systems. There was no uncomfortable high pressure sales pitches. He gave an estimate, shared conversation with my husband and left. There was a follow up call not long afterwards. If there is ever a need for their services, we would call again.

Called for a broken garbage disposal and got up charged egregiously. The guy that came out told me my fixtures and water were in terrible condition and tried to convince me to sign a financial agreement for a new $7500 water filter right then and there. I had to lie and say I’d consider to get him out of my house. Terrible sales tactics and I feel bad for anyone that isn’t smart enough to see how pushy and disingenuous they are.

Giving 2 stars because the initial service was good. Called because I had a backup in my kitchen sink that couldn’t be snaked. They found out I had a septic system I never knew about which helped me out and we got it pumped. The reason I’m giving 2 stars is because they said the drain field would need to be replaced for $20k and my drain pipes would all need to be replaced for an additional $16k. I told them I wanted a second opinion and I haven’t heard from them since, they didn’t even bother to send me the estimate for the job. Had Rolland Reash come out and we were able to work out that the main issue was a lateral line coming from my kitchen sink that needed to be replaced for a fraction of the cost. Lickety split didn’t bother to diagnose the actual problem and just jumped to a full replacement. They also left the septic tank cover lids loose and the system still dug up. Thankful that I wasn’t a victim of lickety split.

Yesterday one of Lickity Splits technicians (Chris de Kock) did a tune up on our A/C.unit. Chris is an exceptional technician, he was very friendly and professional in his interaction with us. His knowledge and skills were also excellent, he diagnosed a few issues with our unit and was able to resolve these quickly and effectively. EDITED TO ADD: WOULD NOT RECOMMENDWhile they got me financing, my $13k unit turned into over 35k because the "financing" is with 2 leasing companies who want over $800 amonth between them! When I called Lickety Spilt, basically they said im on my own.My ac went out on Friday. I called Florida Heat and air who DID NOT accurately diagnose the issue, they overfilled my system and disconnected the ground wire. Couldn't order the part until Monday. I called Lickety Split who can same day, properly diagnosed all the issues and worked with my recovering credit to get me financing. Oscar and Wayne came out to assist and Kevin helped make it happen. I will be a customer for life!!! 😊

One gave me very helpful tips. They were also very professional while doing the install. Wonderful experience! Our HVAC decided to stop working over the holidays. Jacob came out the same day, diagnosed and repaired our AC quickly and was very courteous and patient. We opted after the repair to have the ducts/vents cleaned and Justin came shortly afterwards the same day to complete that service. He, too, was polite and pleasant whilst undertaking that project and very flexible working around our many pets. Will absolutely use them going forward!

I'd say this company is a little overpriced. The skill set of the technicians (Robert & Kevin) were great and got the job done within 1 hour. Overall good experience.

Technician was pleasant to talk to and deal with while getting me a price to install new hot water heater-no pressure in any manner shape or form even checked my water no cost to me-Had to wait to get prices as he had to get them from his boss-only negative labor prices extremely high compared to competition!

I signed up for the HVAC service for a year. Today was a scheduled visit based on the contract. They communicated consistently to keep me up to date as to when the technician would arrive. When the technician arrived he was courteous, informative, and efficient. Very happy with the service.

Called late last week and made an appt for their $49 special for AC inspection and tune up. Keenan arrived promptly, was personable and did a thorough inspection. He pretty quickly found an issue with the pressure on the air handler and spent a considerable amount of time narrowing down this problem, which turned out to be the 52 yo aforementioned duct work. After much discussion, research, and questions asked I decided to move forward with them to have new duct work installed. They made the financing part of the job quick, easy, and relatively painless, given the price. Not that they were unfair in the price just that I had no idea things were as bad as they were with the current ducting. They will be here tomorrow to do the installation and I’ll provide an update once that is complete and I can hopefully see the results translate to lower cooling/heating bills. Thanks to all involved so far from Lickety Split.

Jacob and John were absolutely awesome. Jacob went ABCD (Above the call of duty). He made me feel like I was the only customer that he had ever had. The work was professionally done with explanations given At every step. The work was also Done at a Very fair price. After Jacob completed his work, then John arrive shortly after and spent the next 3 1/2 to 4 hours meticulously cleaning the unit. I was very impressed with the company overall And will use them every time I need HVAC work done

I had my original sewer lines replaced. I was very impressed with the professionalism of all the guys that came out and worked on my project. John, Adam, Eric, Mike, Sean, Yo, Greg, and Sean. Cheyenne was my technician, and I would rate her a ten! She was very comprehensive and answered my questions in detail. She took photographs to show me what I needed to know. The result of the visit was that I replaced the entire duct system. I did know it needed it due to age and wear. The result is i'm breathing much better! Thank you!

Robert Lynch was sent over after a couple of calls to customer service regarding a septic problem (under warranty)... He diagnosed the problem immediately, opened the tank, fixed the problem (a misplaced float valve), ziptied everything in place, closed the tank, replaced dirt/grass and took away all the garbage from the project... All in two hours... This man is a hidden treasure of Lickety Split, give him a raise!

Had a big problem with a leak in my plumbing/shower and Robert came and got everything fixed up. Not only he was extremely knowledgeable, but the thing that stuck out the most was his professionalism and his courtesy. Made us feel comfortable that no matter what the issue was that he was going to fix it. Takes pride in his work and it shows. Will definitely call again. Give Robert a raise, promotion, those types of employees are hard to come by.
