Well our initial visit was great by Anthony. He promised $200 discount since I’m a Veteran which never came unfortunately. The next day Roby came fora replacement of a shower valve, a shower cartridge, and making 2 access panels was $2700. The tech had no idea he was doing these things and I had to tell him. The shower doesn’t get as hot now and he even took my Danco poli temp kit that I purchased myself, this is after installing kits that don’t match our shower heads, also no caulk was put around the temp selector plate which I’m going to have to do. No attention to detail, no customer care and value.Lickety split is a joke, go to smaller companies that actually care about you.

My wife and I recently had an issue with our AC and we called Lickety Split to come have it checked out as it is the first service that pops up in google. After diagnosing the issue the tech called his boss (or sales guy? I'm a little unsure) who gave me a $14k quote of my townnhome for replacing ductwork on ONLY my top floor. He told me this was not an issue I could let stand around and they could have someone come out later that day to get it fixed and that their prices were standard for the work being done.It wasn't until afterwards when we curiously scoped out the prices of other local services that we realized the cost of repairs for this situation should be half the cost of this, if even. Attempting to contact them and ask for an itemized list of the cost was met with shrugs by the company who refused to provide one.This company seems to rely on you not realizing how much your repairs/cost should actually be and will try to convince you to have the worked done as soon as possible.TL;DR Be aware that this company will charge you significantly higher prices than any other repair services in the area. Compare prices with other services before signing any contracts with them.

Used pressure sales tactics to coerce my husband and I to agree to EXTREMELY over-charged services. Said it was an emergency situation and we were putting our 18 month old son at risk if we delayed. They would not provide an itemized bill after REPEATED requests regarding the charges and customer service just placates you. When requesting multiple times if we could remove the warranty and the maintenance to help lower our 14k bill they said "we'll look into it and see what we can do" its been 2 weeks of back and forth with no answers. BUYER BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Submitted a service request online in the morning and was contacted by James within a few hours and confirmed for that afternoon. They showed up early-that hardly ever happens :) They were extremely professional, quick, and did not try to push a service or issue on us that was not needed. Exactly what was needed as my mom had just been released from the hospital. I’ve worked in new home construction for 12 years through warranty and sales, so I tend to be pickier then maybe others on some things and would absolutely use them again.

We called Lickety Split a couple weeks ago upon realizing we had leak going on in our home. Let me start also by saying I was managing the crisis alone, as my other half was out of town.It was Sunday and the service member came out a couple hours after our call. Prior to them arriving, JEA had shown up and been extremely helpful to me, showing me where the main line was, turning it off and ensuring it wasn't our irrigation that was leaking.When the Lickety Split man arrived, he performed no inspection, did not test anything, and simply told me we would need to take out a major loan because a full re-pipe was needed. Mind you this is an outdoor leak and he did not even turn on the main line to try to see if there was any feasibility of fixing it. Generic sales scare tactic taking advantage of someone in crisis. And let me tell you as someone who knows nothing about plumbing i did not appreciate his immediate push to get a loan, when he did not offer to do any investigative work. He proceeded to spend 3 hours at our home, we asked him to perform an inspection as that is what we were being charged for but he said he did not have tools and complained he would have to drive to the other side of town to get them. The audacity that they had someone even come out without any tools.In the end, i realized they were absolutely wasting time and not helping to resolve anything. It was incredible stressful so we asked them to leave and called another plumbing company that came by and helped resolve our issue.I would not recommend this company to anyone. The only reason for two stars is because at least they had the dignity to refund us for the "leak detection" they didn't have equipment to perform.

The first technician that came out really caused some issues by taking shortcuts, but thank God for Steve and Desmond. Steve arrived diagnosed the issue and went to work 2 1/2 days later I feel comfortable with the work that was done however still trying to dry out all the moisture and water they got under the kitchen cabinets. Hope that doesn’t turn into a problem later.If I were to use lickety split again, I would definitely ask for Steve and Desmond to do the job. Keep up the good work, fellas!

I was thoroughly impressed with the fact that LS got out to my house in about an hour after I called about my AC not working. I’m on oxygen all the time and a house with no AC get extremely hot and humid which is difficult on someone with a lung disease. They told me it would be a couple of hours before someone would be able to call to set up an appt but I got a call within about 10 minutes and a tech was here within an hour. Amazing. Then the you’re welcome h wound up having to stay here until about 6:30 to finish what he could but was unable to finish due to the technicality of an additional repair that was needed. They came back out early next morning and had me AC in a couple of hours. Very impressive for just about ANY business these days to respond so quickly. My homeowner warranty company was going to take a couple of days to do the same thing this company did in an hour. The only thing that I had an issue with was getting an estimate and the diagnosis to present to my warranty company for reimbursement. I’ve tried twice for the manager of the field work but only got a response with a sentence that said was the diagnosis. Responded I needed letterhead and an official diagnostics to provide the warranty company. So I waited until the work was done tho king I would get an invoice of the work, diagnosis and the amount charged. Did not happen either. So now I’m having to call the office to get an invoice which should have been provided me before the last te h left the job site. If that had been done I would shout 5 stars all day long. Will update review once I get the invoice if and information I need to try and recoup the $3500 spent fixing what the warranty company should have.

They offered same day service and had a technician at our door within a few hours. Don't waste your time or money.I'm just going to tell you what happened. You draw your own conclusions.Our sewer line was backed up, and my husband was unable to clear the clog. He called Lickity Split and they offered to clear the line for $79. which they required upfront over the phone. A little weird, but no big deal.The plumbers showed up at the end of, or maybe a little after, their 5 hour window. Not ideal, but that's how it goes sometimes. Again, no big deal.My husband had already pulled the toilet before calling anyone, so they ran a camera down the pipe to identify the problem. They said there were roots in the pipe. My husband watched the same video display and never saw any roots or pipe damage. He did see what looked like dirt, which was the clog. My husband asked to take another look at the problem area, and the guy sped through it talking about roots again. They did not clear the clog, but, instead, said the pipes compromised beyond use. They could have somebody out the next day to rip up the bathroom floor and replace all the pipes for $8,500.My husband wasn't buying it and got a second opinion from a trusted plumber his family has used for years. The next morning, that plumber snaked out the pipe, got the drain flowing, and reset the toilet. All in, it took about an hour and cost $100. My husband asked if he should be worried about the pipes. The guy, completely unconcerned and a little confused by the question, said it was just build up and the pipes were fine.Our bathroom works great now. No thanks to Lickity Split.For context, our house is a single bathroom and I'm nine month pregnant. I'm not sure that influenced the Lickity Split guys, but, again, you draw you own conclusions.

The representatives arrived at our home in a very timely manner. They politely introduced themselves and immediately began to address the plumbing issues we were experiencing, after asking for a detailed explanation. They quickly unclogged our shower drain and kept us informed of the work they were performing and provided us with helpful information to prevent future problems.In addition. It was detected that we needed additional work done to make the water in our shower hotter but we couldn't afford the cost to get the additional repairs completed. The techs who showed up were not only knowledgeable, but very personable as well. I have a natural curiosity for technical things, and sought to learn from them and they were more than happy to teach me. 10/10 service. the cost is what upsets me though. I was assured a complementary cleaning, turns out that was just for the outside unit, and the vent cleaning was not complimentary. website states $89 for the service I got. I ended up paying $2200 0/10 pricing honesty. overall experience averages out to 5/10. Pricing aside, I'll be going with rickety split every time going forward due to the amazing technicians and service. highly recommend, but with the caveat of ensuring you know you'll be paying a premium for premium services.

One gave me very helpful tips. They were also very professional while doing the install. Wonderful experience! Our HVAC decided to stop working over the holidays. Jacob came out the same day, diagnosed and repaired our AC quickly and was very courteous and patient. We opted after the repair to have the ducts/vents cleaned and Justin came shortly afterwards the same day to complete that service. He, too, was polite and pleasant whilst undertaking that project and very flexible working around our many pets. Will absolutely use them going forward!

Called late last week and made an appt for their $49 special for AC inspection and tune up. Keenan arrived promptly, was personable and did a thorough inspection. He pretty quickly found an issue with the pressure on the air handler and spent a considerable amount of time narrowing down this problem, which turned out to be the 52 yo aforementioned duct work. After much discussion, research, and questions asked I decided to move forward with them to have new duct work installed. They made the financing part of the job quick, easy, and relatively painless, given the price. Not that they were unfair in the price just that I had no idea things were as bad as they were with the current ducting. They will be here tomorrow to do the installation and I’ll provide an update once that is complete and I can hopefully see the results translate to lower cooling/heating bills. Thanks to all involved so far from Lickety Split.

Jacob and John were absolutely awesome. Jacob went ABCD (Above the call of duty). He made me feel like I was the only customer that he had ever had. The work was professionally done with explanations given At every step. The work was also Done at a Very fair price. After Jacob completed his work, then John arrive shortly after and spent the next 3 1/2 to 4 hours meticulously cleaning the unit. I was very impressed with the company overall And will use them every time I need HVAC work done

Robert Lynch was sent over after a couple of calls to customer service regarding a septic problem (under warranty)... He diagnosed the problem immediately, opened the tank, fixed the problem (a misplaced float valve), ziptied everything in place, closed the tank, replaced dirt/grass and took away all the garbage from the project... All in two hours... This man is a hidden treasure of Lickety Split, give him a raise!

Had a big problem with a leak in my plumbing/shower and Robert came and got everything fixed up. Not only he was extremely knowledgeable, but the thing that stuck out the most was his professionalism and his courtesy. Made us feel comfortable that no matter what the issue was that he was going to fix it. Takes pride in his work and it shows. Will definitely call again.
